Nobody is going to take you under their wing if you can't take the time to write out a coherent post.

Budzbuddha gave you some great soils to get you on your way. You want shorter plants for stealth? Look into growing techniques like topping/LST and make sure you're growing an indica dominant strain.

I'm new to growing (first timer), using Coast of Maine Seed Starter Soil (start seeds) and Coast of Maine Castine Blend Organic Raised Bed Mix for my pots (30 gallon). Coast of Maine has Stonington Blend but it's about $10 more per bag, 1.5 CF vs 2 CB for Castine Blend. Adding compost, worm castings, aeration (rice hulls and Pitt Moss) and other amendments to the soil. Trying to not make a hot soil. Water once a week with Thrive.N and recycle-Sil Natural Silica. Plenty of good options out there; easy to find that are not $$$, Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Happy Frog Soil, and Coast of Maine. Being in New England I picked Coast of Maine. You can always top to minimize the height of your plants.

If you've ever grown pepper plants and topped it's the exact same thing. Top the pant and you get a bushy plant, (less tall) and better yield.
