Beginner wondering what seeds to buy?

Hey guys I'm new to this site and just getting started on the whole growing process. I'm wondering what you would recommend to attempt to grow indoors for my first time? I'm good at following directions (and i've been doing alot of reading from all of the post on this site!!) but i have anything but a green thumb. Any tips on picking my seeds? I'm looking for the best looking bud and most yield.

buy a easy strain to grow nl#5 perhaps and start from there
most will say go outdoor in soil for ur virgin run i disagree i like dwc and indoors but each to there own

hmm.. i would say go with somewhere like the attitude for your beans.. a lot of people like to recomend northern lights for a first grow, and its some nice bud for sure..
i would stick with a top breeder, someone like dna, reserva privada, thseeds, dj short, there are a bunch..
i would also try and stick with an indica, or indica dom strain for a first grow as they tend to stay smaller and are less fussy with their feeding..
i grew some mk ultra from thseeds, and it was some really nice smoke and easy to grow.

The most recomended seed is Northern lights for beginers, that I have seen. It is what I am growing on my first grow and it is forgiving with my noob mistakes! LOL If you read up about this strain it has a high leaf to bud ratio. But I am waiting to smoke it later. If you are just starting out I would recomend Nirvana as a seed supplier. They are the cheapest I have found and all of my three orders have gotten to me within a week from ordering. I live in the USA also and it is very discreet shipping. Later after you learn how to grow start looking for a better breeder if you don't like nirvana. But for now I would stick to the cheap ones just so when you kill them you aren't out as much money! 23 of the 23 seeds that I have germinated from nirvana were succesful so that is 100%!

I soak my seeds in distilled water for 7 hrs then put them between wet paper towles and they crack within 12 to 16 hrs. that is my method and it has proven to be 100% succesful.

I went with feminized, I am about to put them in a 36 hr dark cycle before I switch them to flower so I can let you know later what the results are. You also have to take into consideration your grow room.

Fem is good to start with cause ya got a girl straight outa the box

I hear cloning off a fem is not always a good idea and I grow the same strain a few times before changing

i'm really digging on the fem seeds now adays.. i am always hearing rumors how they are hermie happy and whatnot, but i have yet run into any of the rumored problems with femmed beans.. and i love the fact that you don't have to waste the time of growing out a male if you have no intentions of doing anykind of breeding..

I am growing 6 NL feminized under a 600w M/H right now and they are around 13in. right now. My grow room in 3X4X7 with a 400 cfm fan. I have them in 5 gal pots and using FFOF soil with about an inch of hydroton balls at the bottom for better drainage. They are about 39 days old right now and it is my first grow so I am a lil worried about stretch so I am going to flower them at 14in. Here is my lil grow room, I have had my noob problems but I think I am doing quite well for a first grow. Right here

I topped three of them and FIM'd three of them to see if what would put out more yeild. Any comments are welcome!

I have grown several of the top strains out there. Right now I grow three strains only. Jack the Ripper (Subcool), White Rhino (Green House Seeds) and my favorite, Milky Way (Kiwi SeedS). As for going black for 36 hours prior to budding Mr Stern, I wouldnt do that, if I was you, you gunna turn your plants limp and stress the hell out of them. Go 36 hours dark on your last 36 hours of plant life.
Top, top, and top again. Your bud count will rise with every topping.
I use advance nutrients line and do real good.
