Whats going on guys this is my three week old Americano Strain plant. It was transplanted from a 6in diameter container. The reason why i am posting is because i think i made a big mistake while transplanting and i simply need some advice on how to transplant marijuana plants in the future.

When transplanting from the smaller pot to the bigger pot i didn't separate each seedling so there are three individual plants that are growing in one 2.5gal pot. Will this prevent my plants from yielding a good amount of bud? Or Does it not even matter? I am a Beginner so please don't be an ass!!!!

The worst things about this, is the roots will fight for water and nutes, but above that, you have the possibility of one or more being a male.
If this happens, you are stuck with trying to kill the male, and deal with it's remaining roots so they won't rot and hurt your remaining plant(s).
Best thing you can do right now, is learn from your mistake, and hope, hope, and hope some more that you have 3 ladies.

From the looks you have 1 big plant and 2 small ones. Snip the 2 small ones at ground level. The roots are minimal still so they shouldn't do much harm. The one looks good and i'd roll the dice and hope for the best. Let her grow and then transplant her into her final pot. Good luck!

Im going to take Bakatare666 advice and just learn from my mistakes. I currently another small cup which is occupied by four seedlings. It's around the time that they need to be transplanted so i will separate each individual plant and plant them separately! Thanks Bro.

You can TRY, if you're willing to take a chance on losing it, taking a SHARP kitchen knife, and slicing down between two of them, where you think the middle is, to separate the roots of the two.
When I transplant, I take a knife, and score my rootball like a cross shape, about 1/3 the height of the ball, so I can spread it and lay it spread out over a mound that I place in the bottom of the new pot.
(I used to do this trick with Radishes, but IDK how much your roots may have intertwined already)

Oh okay I see! when you score the rootball is it done from the top where the leaves are or on the side of the rootball?
