Beneficial Bacteria in Aeroponics

Do you add beneficial bacteria and/or fungi to your Aero system?

Been using great white myself and seems to work well, but I also physically dip
the roots in some of the powder during veg to flower transplant. I've never used
molasses in any hydro applications as I've heard nothing but complaints, how do
your sprayer heads keep up with it?

how do you keep your nozzles from clogging?

i was using great white and tarantula but kept getting chunks of light-colored stuff (bacteria and fungus, i assume) in my nozzles. added a 1 micron filter, so now my nozzles don't clog, but my filter does!

went back to using H202 + hygrozyme and just dipping the roots in beneficials from time to time.

Hmmm.....I make my own beneficial tea based on THIS thread.

I keep the tea fairly strained using a sock.

I've only had one spray head get clogged that I know of so far...and that was because of the PVC that fell into the pipe from when I drilled holes for the spray heads. (I use the red 360degree spray heads)

I don't know how many spray heads you guys are using.... I read about spray heads getting clogged, so when I made my aero setups I tried to use a larger amount of spray heads so that if 1 or 2 get clogged then the rest can still deliver water pretty well.

I don't use molasses directly in my reservoir....I use molasses in my tea brewing process as food for the bennies to eat after I awaken them, then they multiply and consume all of the molasses. After I get billions and billions of them buggers, I put the tea in milk jugs in my fridge. They keep for about 10 days....as long as they don't smell bad (anaerobic)

Check out Hesienberg's post for how I make my beneficial tea...that thread is gold.

still dialing in this aero stuff. i had a pretty good scare a couple weeks ago when i had an awful algae bloom in my veg room due to a 4oo watt mh i fired up while waiting on my led fixture to arrive. roots started going due to temps and some fungus and stem rot started. as soon as i figured out what was going on which was probably around 4 days into this mess things were lookin ugly plus i od my plants on some abamectin for some spidermites which came in on some clones i purchased. uggghhhhh. i finally got things turning around now due to two water changes and periodic cleaning of stems w/peroxide. ive decided i am going back to syntetic nutes so i can run h202 in my res as extra insurance for foul ups or miscalculations in the future.
been kind of a rough start w/this system but i am amazed by the growth these girls are having :)
peace

When you add Tea do you also use other nutes? Can someone break each step down...as in when to use nutes/teas and other additives? I'm starting my grow from seedlings and then will move to veg unit. I'm reading this forum daily to further educate myself before getting started. I have plenty of videos but this forum is a lil better for its hands-on help or to see other newbies trial n error. Aeroponics is the way i'm going.

im digging the zone all they way. got some great white sitting around if needed but not a fan of the cost. im running them aeroflos and the roots stay white as hell
