Benefits of a Light Rail

Hey guys and galls. I am thinking of starting up a grow room using a 1000w light attached to light rail. I am wondering if this will maximise the amount of plants i can put into a room wthout effecting the photoperiod foe each plant. Has anyone any experience using a light rail or knows of anyone who has?

That is indeed the idea behind the light rail, I'd like to tack on a Q of my own, too. How much weight can a light rail hold?
