Besides a good soil do your plants need food/fertilizers/extra nutrients?

I am about to get into growing but I just want to find out exactly how first so i dont do anything too stupid lol. Do you guys use any extra food??

Most likely yes. MJ loves Nitrogen and most soil will not have enough. Wait till the plant tells you it needs more.

Yes! There are basic nutrients for each stage - grow, bloom, ripe. And supplements - tea, cal-mag, liquid karma, etc.

I'll get you started with a good soil recipe:

40% Fox Farms Ocean Forest
40% Happy Frog
15% Perlite
5% a combination of Earth Worm Castings, Dolomite Lime and BoneMeal.

You won't need any nutrients for 30 days.

Start there. That gives you 30 days to tackle the rest.

If you make your own organic soil like supersoil you will not need to feed. Check it out in the organics area.

I just harvested 5 plants veg'd 8 weeks no nutes and they where beautiful.

OK... they just lock you up in Alcatraz ...
and lucky you just pooped out a cannabis seed,
do you think you could turn the place into a forest ...
with just what you got?

Off course you can..in 5 years you and the guards would be selling tickets to the place ..

the first thing I learn't
back in '76 was this cannabis is a weed,
really a fucking weed you don't need 95% of the grow shop

If I had to start again ...I'd go organics from the word go..sure the grow shop con.. is grand and easy
..but it don't teach you anything ...UNTIL ITS TO LATE ..
like before the Internet peeps read the books ...now they just post it on a forum
and get 50 different answers to what would be canna growing 101 ...
