Yeah the problem is that that block of descriptive text doesn't even make sense. I wouldn't believe a word it says based on how poorly overall it's written.

Most of the descriptions of strains on Attitude sound either made up or really they all sound the same. Seems like all you can do it give it a whirl and hope for the best!

ok its just the old polyploid trick....used on the males so the poison is not in the seeds...its just constitutes the doubling of chromosomes...you'd be very happy if you got a polyploid

The Bros. Grimm line although it was a good hybridizer, it was more of a recreational smoke, then a medical use one. It had the good qualities of high resin, good bag appeal, good flavor, and good hybrdization.

yield has been decent about mid range ime...and the high is hallucinogenic and really awesome imo...different strokes

and the Bros Grimm took the money and ran...lol

so far, i'd probably say sweet haze even though jack's cleaner 2 is my favorite strain as it might be more visual and it's touchy feely effect is distinctive even if it has a mild stone, but sweet haze is much tastier and not shabby in the psychoactivity department with stcky greasy buds.

really, looks shouldn't matter as much as the buzz and fluffy pale green peach fuzz columbian gold is fine by me.

if anyone's interested in gold colors, DNA's lemon skunk is awesome all around too. it has almost a golden glow that reminded me of amber glass that really suits it's lemongrass flavor, and it's buzz isn't as stony as skunk #1 either and surprosed me. i want to get that again for breeding with lemony strains like malawi gold for flavor and color as well as speeding them up better than skunk #1.

purple strains look great, but most are stony snd generic from the ones i've tried so far. i am interested in DJ shorts' grape krush though as the flavor, if not the buzz ultimately, makes more sense for getting a purple strain, and i'd like to breed that flavor into slow ass oldtimer's haze.

any flavor or color you grow is just a novelty though when the buzz should be top priority, but then again i'd rather smoke mexican brick than stony anything. bag appeal traits might be good for making a quick sale to a stranger, but a top quality high will make people come back begging to score more often than not.

white strains are way overrated IMHO. they're one trick ponies that are all about resin, none that i've heard of get you high, and they lack flavor and are generally harsh even, but that's what you get when you value looks over actually smoking a bud.

I couldn't agree more hg....I hate weed that turns one into Beavis and Butthead...thats not high...take a valium if thats what you want...lol

Dont really care for rock hard buds either as they almost always are stoner weed...with the exception of a jack herer I grew which was trippy and you could have knocked someone out with a cola

Put it like this...if it makes me see cartoons on the wall and everything shimmers and shakes with vivid bright neons then I wouldn't give a fuck if it looks like straw, tastes like a burning tire and smells like a crack whores ass on the first of the month:twisted:

Why sorry? Bubba is pretty good stuff, it might be somewhat stony but it also has a bit of euphoria with it. Also can do some heavy thinking, but sometimes hard to maintain focus, lol. Gives you killer munchies too.

there's that, but ANY bud that's rock hard is annoying. i was really pissed one time when i got a bud so hard that i couldn't break it apart with my fingers and had to use a box cutter blade on it. we din't have none of them fancy grinder whatchamacallits back in those days. another thing that makes rock bud suck is that it's so dense, there's less room for resin. that rock bud was as dry as cardboard too... i don't remember it being sticky at all.

you know, most everyone agrees that blueberry is one of the best strains in the world, it's just a tastier skunk #1 to me, and that strain's famous for it's leaf curl. looks can be very deceiving with buds, and bag appeal, to me, usually indicates indica hype to me and growers like indicas more than smokers.

you know OP, you never mentioned the color red. one of my skunk #1 comparable masterkush autos was a deep dark crimson red until i panfried it and it turned more of an old penny copper color that i bet would have been more intense with regular curing. back to bag appeal, red hair used to be as big a buzzword as skunk was in the late 80s. it's not my favorite color... too violent, but i'm sure there's at least as many and probably more red strains than purple.

it's cool though these days that there's so much variety in crosses that there's a huge canvas of strains to pick and chose from for buzzes, colors, statures, flowering times and flavors etc. that a lot of great strains will produce eventually in the future.

i agree with the implication jack herer should dominate the streets. many crosses of that are 9 weeks or faster (8 weeks is considered really fast) and the buzzes are way better than all the commercial novelty strains. i want to try pure herer asap, but would clearly have chosen that over boring C99 (45-55 days) if only i could get one fucking smoke report that addressed the stone issue i was so put off by that i wound up with racy and clear headed instead of mellow balanced and trippy with the apollo 11 and super silver haze everyone kept trying to push on me when no one had a words for mids apparently. any grower who really DOES value their customers enough to give them the best REAL quality (growing for money is already a step towards the dark side) should try growing a motivational and or trippy strain besides their usual street fodder to improve the scene, but it ain't happenin'

cinderella's nicer balanced than kali mist and way above average, but leans more towards clearheaded motivation in textbook phenos, though potent pineapple can be stony and or trippy. joey weed fruity thai pheno cinderella was the first strain i ever grew out, and even bred with, and i loved it, but john sinclair's sativa trans love has a hazier high, is compact and buds like crazy, though it takes a week or two more. i'm way happier with stonier, but very trippy both visually and especially in the tactile jack's cleaner 2 way more than cindy too. it's less boisterious where cindy is keep busy while you can chill out on tunes with a strain that has a little bit more CBD & CBN like cleaner 2. i really want to try apollo 13 based third dimension. that's supposed to be as fast finishing as cindy, but should be way trippier with her trippy mellow son apollo and their old school trippy grandma jack herer and a pina colada pheno would be awesome to boot. i'm dreading potential poo phenos of that though. pina colada with lime would be neat.

poll, title and original post do not make much sense together. you would have been better off chosing popular strains to list or no poll at all. ugh.

G13 labs Pineapple Express and Dinafem Critical + are two of the OVERALL most valuable strains in my experience. Very little veg time needed to get lots of bud. High potency, strong turpenes. Flower time is very good for both, and they show quite a bit of sativa too. truely valuable all around strains.

please dont be offended... but WHAT!?!? rock hard buds do NOT have less potency. in fact id say alot of phenotypes of plenty of strains can be "dialed into" and be grown to have rock hard buds one way or another. My medusa buds were hard as a ROCK. literally... plenty of ass kicking resin/potency.

imo it just has more to do with the strain being potent, or having a high hash ratio, or not. i dont think the density has alot of effect overall on potency.
just sayin :)

btw id go with Critical Jack as a better All Around strain, not that ive grown it personally tho... typically you have to look for the fastest flowering pheno to get an 8/9 week jack. they do exist tho, your right. Kannabia uses one in their breeding. they claim it speeds up flowering times of other strains when bred into them.

edit: i also meant to say, yeah i agree about c99 being a great all around strain too. most of the c99 hybrids ive had have been awesome, and they are usually very easy to grow for sativas. certainly an important strain to mention. that PE is a c99 hybrid.
