Best approach to both save some genetics and to cross two phenos?

So I'm thinking of breaking up with my girls. They've served me well but now I want to try something new.

I believe 1 of the 2 is the preferred keeper as it seems to be tighter denser buds and a better profile in general. The dilemma I have is that the other pheno (B) seems to flourish and grow better in general and has visually bigger buds. But, when it comes to actual weight in the jar, the preferred one (A) wins.

I had grown these 2 over past few years, multiple runs and only once did I get a seed batch where I believe it was (B) and self-pollinated (stress induced I believe). So I have a bunch of questionable use seeds from what I believe to be pheno (B).

I'd like to use STS (or CS) and preserve (A) mainly, but I'm also looking at opportunities to cross the two and save those genetics for revisiting in the future. I'd also consider forcing some seeding through stress techniques if there's a reason to go that route.

So for those in the know, facing that scenario how would you approach getting seeds and crossing the pair/getting seeds from the cross? I've briefly looked into breeding/getting seeds but have yet to actually try anything or do deep homework - but I know I'm also trying to achieve a specific goal here that may require a little more planning before execution. Hopefully the RIU crew can help steer me in the right direction at least.

Any pics? Unless it's some kind of "legacy" strain, if it's not a keeper of your keepers I wouldn't make seeds with it
