Hi guys, I'm trying to research who has the best Blueberry strain and really it always comes down to Dutch Passion or DJ Short. I'm not gonna lie I have no experience at all and to me it only comes down to pictures (lame I know) but Dutch Passions BB pic looks fucking crazy good. So lets settle this once and for all. Who has the better Blueberry strain/more stable strain, Dutch Passion/DJ short/Other?

DJ Short hands down, next in line is sagarmartha for me. DP is ok but takes a a lot of beans to find a good mother!

Best ive had was dr atomics blueberry jam, its nl x bb, has higher yield than regular blueberry and shorter flower time. 8-9 weeks, strong blueberry scent and the taste comes through after cure very well too. Its got a good strong heady high and body high like nl does very effective meds, dr atomics gear is tough to get these days, iknow hemp depot has it for relatively cheap, herbiesheadshop.com has it too.

Thanks guys, I want a stable Blueberry strain that's Indica dominate. Problem is, from what I have read alot of people are shitting on DJ shorts strains saying he lost his original genetics/they are unstable now/alot of knock offs.

So I really don't know what to think. Maybe I am just over thinking it. Lol maybe no matter how good a strain is there will always be haters that don't like the breeder/strain I don't know. It makes it hard for Noobs like me to actually pick a strain.

Another good NLxBB is by PeakseedsBC, its got the same characters as the Dr Atomic version :)

I'm growing out the high grade version at the moment and its lookong and smelling mighty tasty! Just be warned though, i have read a few bad reviews about them lately. I email them on a regular basis and always get a reply though.

Thats also my understanding of his blueberry which I have grown before. I hear that dutch passions genetics are from earlier DJ blueberry though.

From my recollection, the DP version is DJ Shorts blueberry but it is his earliest crossing and DP grew out a pack and crossed a male and female so it still has a lot of variation. Ive grown both and it took a lot to find a decent keeper from DP whereas almost all of the DJ Shorts I've grown have been keepers, very stable.

Blue widow is a hardy indica dominant strain. Its a cross between blueberry (f) and white widow (m). Super easy to feed. And has great upward growth.

Cool cool, I was looking into that seems like a great combination BBxWW. Blue Venom from G 13 or do you suggest the Dinafem breeder? I haven't seen much from either.

I've had a few "blue strains" and rank them as follows: (keep in mind I only popped about 5-6 beans apiece so maybe the best pheno was not found in some) : 1: SOL - Blubonic (Strong berry funk taste and smell, solid buds, A- buzz), 2. DJ Short - True Blueberry (superb anise taste, slightly trippy but not overpowering high), 3. DJ Short - Blueberry (Didn't match hype but decent, LOW yield), 4. Dinafem -Blue Widow (looks much better than it smokes/tastes - sleepy dull stone for me), and 5. DP - Blue Moonshine (complete garbage).

Ive heard alot of good things about the Blue Venom. Im gonna recommend the blue widow though only because its what im growing bongsmilie Im a beginner and I'm realizing what burns one plant, doesnt burn the blue widow, what causes deficiencies in one plant, doesn't cause deficiencies in the blue widow. Its just super easy to feed and grows beautifully. If grown in lower temps during flower it gets an awesome red, purple, and blue color to it.

If you got a sleepy high off a blue widow it sounds like you let too many trichs get amber too me. Buddy of mine harvested his blue widow a couple months ago, literally the last thing i was though was tired. Didnt get tired for a couple hours lol.

My PeakseedsBC KushxBlueberry reeked of blueberries. Smoked awesome too. I've seen a lot of positive reports on their pure blueberry as well.

AFAIK he took a bunch of DJ's work through the years grew em out and selected the best and then stabilized.

They're the cheapest/purest and probably most diverse line out there that has multiple lineages (as DJ has shifted this variety quite a bit over the years).

I grew out the Dinafem Bluehash (freebie) and after 2 weeks in the jar, it was the same way. It put me to sleep. I rarely smoked it because it gave me such a stoney, sleepy stone. After 45 days in the jar the buzz took on an entirely different profile. It became very sedative, but not sleepy at all. I really enjoyed the buzz. Since then I always recommend longer cure times for berry strains and follow that advice.

Bog seeds ,all other have been unstable as a addict
My DJ Short Blueberry plants were the most stable fucking plants I have ever dealt with. I've done more strains than I can count, and I always knew what I was getting with a DJ Short seed.
