Best camera under 300 for LED white balance

I am currently running a 380 growblu 180x3 led grow light and I recently started documenting my grow. I was trying to white balance the grow light on my nexus 4 with every app possible to no avail. So I was considering a camera but have no knowledge of the subject and was somewhat at a standstill. I was wondering what camera would fit my situation best when growing under and led light and trying to get the best possible picture with the least amount of interference with the light thank you

Appreciate the reply it helped somewhat still not sure what camera to buy though again thanks

Appreciate the reply the information helped however I am still at a standstill on what camera to buy or should most good quality cameras have the capability to white balance my tent

All good quality cameras will have adjustable white balance. You could do a quick google search with the name plus "white balance" to double check im sure.

As someone who grows under LED. Just take your pictures with the lights off and use a flash on your camera. I normally take mine when I removed my plants to clean off dead leaves and what not. Its really pretty easy. Turning your lights off for a few seconds won't really hurt anything. As for trying to white balance out the purple light. ROFL. Even a high end camera will have a really hard time doing that since those spectrums of light are so bright from a LED.
