Now sure what area you live in but if you're in a medical state look on Craigslist. Otherwise checkout Ebay or Amazon.
Depends if you want new or used I guess.
I've bought alot of my gear off Craigslist with no issues and saved alot of money along the way. Last guy I met with hooked me up with 2 Lumatek 1k's along with a Hortilux Dual-Arc bulb for $350. I also scored 3 Lumaktek Dual 600w's for $130 a piece off Ebay and they work perfect.

However stores still have a overhead cost that gets passed along to the customer. On the flip side you have a place to go back to if you have issues with your equipment. Although some places sell their used stuff as is.

wtf i must go against u, i buy all my shit on amazon, ph pen, ff nutes, ph kit, ect ect cheap cheap cheap and saved me more money then these hydro shops , not tryin to talk shit but u must be misinforming people

ebay! check peoples feedback before purchasing and ask questions! some of the best deals to be had, but create an account with a friends name and shipping address not associated with the grow. put everything on prepaid credit cards. and you can find the best deals hands down! next best thing is ordering from china....lol

Go with EM ballasts instead of digital for service life and reliability. They are far cheaper too. They cost a little more to ship but not that much. Look and see.

Another vote for Apollo bought 2 600watt hps/mh cant beat the price and they come with bulbs also.
