best clone breeder

Nice that's good to hear he was clear about the different phenos, those buds look fire I might have to grab me one of them you say the #2 was better, wonder if I can request that pheno.
No worries about the candy store, I read another member say it wasn't that good, so I was kinda happy getting the ELB instead, I'll try and post up some pics in a month or so
Saw some activity on this thread, thought I should update. After waiting a few more days and receiving no response to my emails, I tried the online chat thing on the website and got to talk to them. I offered to cover the shipping if they would replace the dead cuttings and they agreed. I suggested they get on it sooner than later because there was a lot of hot weather in the forecast. Cuttings were received about a week later. Clones all had spider mites and 1 had some pm. Given they were rushed, I was still happy to get them and saw no reason to complain....easy enough to take care of it. Blueberry sunset looked and smelled amazing and exactly as describe, but turned hermie at 5weeks in and had to be tossed. Blueberry strains are prone to this maybe not their fault. Super lemon haze grew short and bushy with nice structure and large red haired buds. Having grown this strain off and on for nearly 15 years I know it pretty well. Ive selected a mom from seeds multiple times and am familiar with the various phenos. Quality wise this was actually one of the worst phenos I have ever seen. Mediocre crystal, no smell, and lacking potency. I can’t imagine even a total amateur would select such a crappy pheno, from even a pretty small sample size so I’m guessing it was either given to them as a clone, chosen without flowering, or that was the only female they got. Either way, it’s the worst representation of this strain that I’ve ever seen. As for the trainwreck, it also had a nice structure and was easy to grow.Very very green with almost no visible hairs, excellent crystal, and a large yield of nice sized buds. Unfortunately this one also had almost no smell. The smell it does have is kinda weird...sort of a musty, cat pissy smell. Product itself seems to be a hybrid, leaning to the sativa end of the spectrum and is quite potent. Not my fav, but nothing wrong with it. Not trying to be overly harsh...nice enough guys just trying to make a living I suppose, but so far have not been too impressed with their offerings. Don’t take it personal though...Thought I might try ordering a few more to see if I have better luck . I’ve got a good number of top notch clone strains on hand anyways so I’m not too worried about it either way. Curious if anyone else has had experience with their offerings?

GTA clones never fulfilled their second order. 2 months, and no response. I tried Canada clones online and just received 4 healthy clones. 2xpink kush, 1xGG4, 1xGMO

This is the ice cream zunday from onlineclones.ca I never got a response back from clones canada online
Funny, that sight doesn't seem to exist, onlineclones dot ca.
And I have 4 beauties from clones Canada about to be put in the flower room.
GTA clones was just a headache, I'm staying away from them.

If the plant the clone cam from was fire, it will be fire if you don't fuck it up
If you got a clone from a mediocre plant your will also be mediocre, or crap will be crap
A fem seed might be fire it might not?
Could pop 1 and find something amazing, or you could pop 10 and find nothing special.
Usually the better the breeder of seeds the better chance of a keeper but still no guarantee.

There is no best clone only breeder. There are ones that are better at marketing. You can find as good or better genetics in a pack of 5 fem seeds of any decent strain.
You've never grown a pack of seeds and not got a winner?
Geez I popped 40 seeds last hunt and found 1 keeper..lol year before that I found 2.
Found some decent plants for sure. But only 1 could hang with what I keep around. I'm not looking for decent, I'm looking for the best I can find. If I buy clones that's what I'm trying to do. Get the best plants without having to sift through the ones I dont like, which is usually most of them.

Than again I ordered clones online and ran them 1 time as mine where better. Even ordered 1 of the same strains as one of my keeper's to compare mine to there's, there's wasn't bad the one I found was just better.

But I suspect you find the clone dealer who only sells the special plants instead of every female in a pack of seeds, then you would get quality clones. But I suspect alot of them just take every female and clone and sell it.

I don't understand what you mean by a winner? I've grown plenty of seeds and most turn out to be good stuff. How good can it be?

I guess I don't buy into all the special "Pheno" stuff.

I grow from seed and grow good weed from most of them. The exception being landraces where I've come across some very good and very bad plants. I've grown genetics from places many say are terrible and ended up with rock hard buds covered in trichomes that smelled and tasted exceptional.

I just think many chase some mythical cut or breeder thinking that's all they need and neglect the part about actually growing a plant. A good grower can grow good weed. A bad grower can grow what is supposedly fire and end up with a crappy harvest of poor quality bud.

No desire to start an argument over a difference of opinion.

Nah no arguments here, to each there own brother. Everybody has their own tastes

And your totally right about having something amazing but not knowing how to grow turns it into a pile of turd.

I'm super picky...lol
My buddy busts my balls about it.

I grew out DNA purple kush years back and fucken hated every plant with a passion, my buddy didn't mind the stuff:bigjoint:
I was also expecting something like the absolute fire I got from a pack of Reserva privada og kush I had got back in 2010. Boy was I disappointed.
That's when I made sure to always do enough of the ones I know I like if I'm trying new gear.

Oh and by winner, it's usually the terps, if I find a plant that I really enjoy the terps is what I classify a winner, should look decent as well but I'm more about the terps.
If a plant looks Awsome but smells like bunk that's a no go.
But if a plant looked like bunk but smelled phenomenal I could get around the not looking so good.
Just my opinion

Do you grow different seeds every grow?
You don't have any you keep and re grow?

I grow different strains every grow. If I take any clones it's to give away or use to make seeds. I grow for for other reasons than many. I have a plethora of genetics I'm working my way through doing seed runs of everything. Some of the most profound terpenes I've come across have been from landraces and IBL's of landrace strains. I make my own crosses and some are as fire as anything I've ever had.

I guess the reason I grow this way is because back when I had a large grow I grew a couple strains for years and just kept cloning those. I just can't grow that way again. I got tired of the same stuff so now every plant I harvest is something different and something I haven't had or is a mix of this that and another thing. That's the way I like to grow. It's not the best way but it's my way and I enjoy it which is all that matters.

I'm working my way through a bunch of ACE genetics and landraces from RSC. I'm making reproductions and crosses of everything. Just a little while ago I dusted a Night Nurse/CBD God cross I made with some landrace Highland Thai pollen. I've grown what I call Night God before and it was exceptional so I popped a seed with the intention of crossing it with either Malawi or Highland Thai. I went with the Thai. I don't know when I'll even grow any out but I had a flowering plant and some pollen so I made another cross that almost certainly hasn't been done before. It's mine and that's what I enjoy about the way I grow. I'll likely never pay for genetics again. There is stuff I want to have but I'm at a point when I already have more than I can grow.

G'day mate, when you're crossing is there a preference for who is the female or male? I've got a Thai landrace and considered making my own strain, never crossed before but interested to have a crack for pretty much the same reasons as yourself. Cheers.
