I use 6" hose clamps with 6" ducting from home depot or lowes. Make sure to strech or fully extend the ducting between connections and try not to have any sharp turns thoughout the ducting either. This helps out a lot when you're not using a fan over 800-1000 CFM. You might as well spend the extra money on the clamps too because the adhesive on the tape usually gets cooked to a crisp in a few days and the dried up glue usually ends up on whatever is below. You can also change bulbs out fast or move the lights quickly if you need to change your setup. Much less hassle compared to when I was a duct tape whore.

You could use the stiff dryer duct you have linked to your last post. If you do, you will need clamps.

I use flexible duct that looks like it is wrapped in foil, uninsulated. I use the insulated kind outside the room to reduce noise from the fan. I utilize zip ties instead of clamps. They are much cheaper and easier too. Just dont get the ducting that is transparent, I used this at one of my penetrations into the room and found that when the lights were off the sun was shinning right through it. I ended up wrapping it with foil tape.
