So just recently i brought a plant back from the dead simply by taking it out of miracle gro and buying an hps lol.

It got me thinking though, what are some of yalls best recoveries? How did it get sick and what did you do to save it?

This is my blue widow. second pic is in mg, first is 12 days after being taken out of the mg.

Im sure there are much more extreme cases though.

Sounds a bit strange that it went from the sick yellow thing to the healthy much bigger plant in 12 days.

Im gonna say the fact that you feed a harsh nute every watering and overwatered with no drainage (perlite) is the reason why it got sick in the first place, Ive NEVER had a problem with mg

the fatter plant is "12 days after being taken out of mg" Not 12 days from the other pic. Probably closer to 20 days imbetween pics.

Had 2 tahoe ogs in a 4x4 scrog in a 4x4 tent about 2 months from seed. One had spider mites...bad. Other one flourished. By the time i found a way to kill them, one plant was dead and they were migrating to my other plant so i took it out of the screen. Repotted into a 10gal pot and still have her growing now (started her in sept).
Fucked up thing was that it was never mites... It took me until a recent devastation of the 40 clones i took off of that recovered og to figure out it was actually root aphids. So now that recovered plant is dying again. Tryna save her, again. Lol.

Sorry to have rambled haha. Just my troubles :P

damn root aphids would have been a pain to deal with even if you knew what it was initially though. Still sucks though, i know the feeling of trying to save it, then trying to get it bushy again so you can flower it, but in the process it fucks up again lol. Wish you luck.

As long as the plant has at least a tiny bit of green to it, then resurrection is possible. HID lighting is preferred for this process. Put it on 18 hours with the mildest of nutrient solutions.
