Ive been wondering about grow tents and am thinking about buying one. What are some good grow tents you have used? Ive looked at gorilla grow tents online and they seem pretty legit, has anyone had experience with these tents? Any help or tips would be dope

Gorilaa tents are the best do to the high weight they hold 300lb and the ir blocking ......along with the abilty make it taller the side doors and the venting port plus they have the finest mesh screening over the intake out of all the makers

Secert Jardin is the next best and use to be the leader ............they offer the most venting and cord holes along with a great zipper and mesh screen on the intake vents

one of those 2 are your best choice for a long life and easy use ..................i repeat do not low ball and get some tent that looks like them but does not carry the label .......finally i was warned about Mammoth tents never buy them u will replace it in months

Ight thanks man I think I'll go with a gorilla tent, I was thinking either 2' x 2' 1/2 x 5'11 or the next size up. I was just planning on having one DWC plant inside of it

Im using a first generation SecretJardin DR240W 4x8x8'. I bought it used in Hollywood for $200. Cleaned it VERY well.NUKED it. And it is like new. I like it alot. Plenty of ports for ducts and cords and nice passive intake ports, although they leak a little light if your not attentive.

depending on the light system u go u know that is only about 3 feet of room to grow up maybe 12 internodes with streching ................u might think about looking at the secert jardin 90 that is 3 x3 with 6 feet u will have atleast 4/5 feet of grow room (minus 12 for bucket height minus for light 12 led )

I'd have to say go with Gorilla, just got one myself and I'm impressed. First one so nothing to compare against but having done my homework it was an easy decision... yeah it cost more but I'm of the mindset that something like this you get what you pay for...

IMO the cheap tents are the best. My 2x3x5 was 80 shipped off fleabay and my 4x4x7ft was 160 shipped off the la shop. Both are great! I have had/worked with Homebox, gorilla and secret jardin tents i'd save my money and get the cheap tents.

Hey I recently purchased a lighthouse 4'x4'x7' tent off amazon. Contrary to what alot of people told me the tent is extremely well made. For under $200 you can't beat this tent. The only complaint I have is that the corners, "t" connectors, their plastic... But seem stong. Canvas is very thick. Though I can see very small holes, around stitching. It could easily be fixed by taking a piece of fabric to and glueing it. Good luck

I like my "Earth Worth" brand tent, got it from Amazon with prime shipping, it was well under $130 AND has an all metal design! I just don't get why people pay for those plastic connecting tents? It was only a few $ more to get a proper tent that wont collapse and risk starting a fire  well worth the $$$

Still no reply?
I'm sure you know what you'r talking about, but Secret Jardin used to get their tents made by the same factory as Mammoth tents (same quality). Now secret jardin get their tents made in another factory and the quality has dropped.

Mammoth tents are still getting their tents made in the original factory with the original Secret Jardin quality (see link).

http://www.onestopgrowshop.co.uk/blog/2013/06/2-new-tent-ranges-that-seem-rather-familiar/

Now if you want the original quality you have to get a Mammoth tent. So, I don't get you'r comment about them

Got me a Jardin DR90II and would like know where the quality has dropped. It is constructed very well with the only plastic being the connecting corners and I do not see that as any problem at all as long
as you do not try to hang an automobile from the support bars!

I have a Lighthouse tent with plastic corners, and they have never caused me any issue. It appears as though you're talking out of your ass; ie. you've never owned a tent with plastic corners, you've never had a corner fail, nor has a defect in manufacturing process caused a fire. How can you say such negative things when you don't have any evidence whatsoever of what you're claiming?

I hang my filter and inline fan along with my lights and other various bits from the frame at the top, plus I have extra lights (LEDs), my ballast, speed controls, timers and a couple flats of empty mason jars on top of the tent. There's no stress at all. I could hang another 30 lbs from the top if I wanted easily, and still see no serious stress (I know; I tried it before turning my lights on).

When I was deciding what tent to purchase, it came down to SJ and Gorilla. I went with an SJ DR150. It's nice but I regret not going with the Gorilla. I'm not quite comfortable enough to hang all my equiptment from the SJ. There is only one bar that goes from side to side in the middle of the tent and two that go from front to back. I used the two that go from front to back to hang my reflectors. They don't weigh much anyway. However, I ran into problems trying to hang my filter & fan. There's no cross bar in the back of the tent so I had to buy a bar and use the two bars that go from front to back as support. I hung the inline fan but I don't feel comfortable hanging my filter (Phresh 6 X 24). Phresh are known to be relatively light so I guess there's no way you could hang a Can filter or one of the heavier filters. So I have it sitting on a small shelf support upright. I just can't take the chance of having the tent collapse. If I had gone with the Gorilla, I could have hung whatever I wanted with no concerns.

Depends on where and when you're tent was manufactured and if they have used up their original stock.
Maybe you're lucky and got one from the original manufacturers (you'll soon know, if the poles start to rust you got one of the new one's).

I have a secret jardin dr90, cant fault it. Decided to go for the Dr150, what a mistake, piss poor product since they have moved it over to china to be made, all the parts to that tent in the hydro shop were messed up, had to open up 3 tents to get one good one! Then i had problems with light escaping, I wanted a gorilla tent but was to expensive to get over to the UK. If you are in USA id say go for gorilla tents, the winner for me at the moment in the UK is green cube/roof cube. Blow secret jardin out of the water!

I agree with buying a Gorilla Tent. They are a little pricier but there's no need for a light rack to hold extra weight and they're height adjustable. Had it not been for a 2' extension my plants would be screwed right now.
