I dig using the General Hydroponics Flora Micro and Flora Bloom nutes, using the Lucas formula. Take a look at my grow journal. My girls are kicking major ass! :-)

Ionic products have been working fine for me. I really think it's not that important. Eventually you may want to tweak it, but anything should work to get you started. Always remember the golden rule. Under-fertilizing is always better then over.

asking that question is like asking what is the best sexual position, who makes the best condom, pepsi, coke, mtn dew, dr pepper, ass or tits.....
The are toooo damn many variables to answer it, like what plants, temp, pressure, water quality, trace elements, set up, what is your res made of..... you want to buy locally or internet, how much is shipping are we looking for plant size or weigh potency ,....

basically what i am saying is buy something try it in your system, then get something diff and try it using the same clone plants and a year you will be able to answer that for yourself.

i wish i could throw out a brand that is far and away the best but there just isnt a simple answer.
e.g.
best for under 30/gal cns17
best to hide in the masses of reputable hobby hydro growers flora nova by general hydro
best that you can get at walmart/ hd schultz.

for my money i use cns17 and add what my plant tells me it needs.

I mix my own so I am not at the mercy of the nutrient manfacturers like AN that often expect you to use three or four products at one time just to get all the nutrients that should be supplied in all two part formulas or a one part dry formula. having less or more is one thing, but leaving a needed nutrient out entirely is just greed based. I have tested may dozens of nutrients with good analaysis equipment over the years and have the formulations for dozens of retail formulations. In all honesty if I had to buy retail nutrients I would only use a combination of two parts GH Florabloom, and one part Floramicro or just Maxibloom for budding. For Vegging I would use one part each of Floramicro, Florabloom and Floragrow. I like less phosphorus and more potash for grow than what is supplied by two parts Florabloom and one part Floramicro. I really don't care much for any of the AN products, but if I had to choose one I would choose their Sensi One Powder Concentrate Grow formula. Other than using the Sensi One Powder Concentrate Grow formula it is impossible to get enough calcium using any other combination on AN formulations.

AN has 62 formulations of fertilizers and horticultural nutrient supplements on the markets outside the USA. So far only 14 have been registered to be sold in this country in the many states requiring they have the anlaysis of their products listed by analysis on the containers. Even then AN provides the data only to those state governing agencies but not to the public. Therefore people have to know where to find the state posted information. Thats real great business tehics by AN. Pretty sad when you figure there are at least 75 to a hundred manfacturers who comply fully in releasing all analysis data on the retial or wholesale packing or containers. Thats a lot of greed there shown by AN.
