These are kits then? If all I have to do is screw some components together, I can do it all day.
So about 4 of these should do my area well enough to eliminate the 1000 w?
I might consider putting the plants / light in the corner so the walls can reflect a little light back on those sides at least or consider hanging some side lighting since those plants are probably gonna end up rather tall. Side lighting rocks. Then it's actually worth growing a tall plant indoors, otherwise it's best to scrog them out and lolipop them.
for sure. I forgot to mention I'm 2 1/2 weeks into bloom.
I agree with lollipopping, I threw these ones into bloom, kinda hastily due to my need to start my cycle. I prefer to go bushy than tall. The tall one is a "pineapple fields" from dynasty. Stretched way more than I thought it was gonna. I topped it before bloom and it still got huge. Went into bloom at roughly 28 inches its topping out at 42 right now
Is heat ever an issue? If not with your 1000w, you may want to upgrade to two 315- CMH with just some LEDS on the sides and whatnot instead of all LED, or at least have a plan on regulating heat. The heat from the CMH is actually pretty important if you have trouble keeping temps up like I do here in the winter. I have a hard time keeping my grow at 72 degrees in this leaky house.

Same here. Michigan is pretty cold right right now and my grow room is in a basement. Given that I reinsulated the entire room, put New drywall in, mud and taped and hit the floor with dry lock all to try keep the room insulated and warm. I run at about 62 degrees with the lights off and about 65 - 67 with them on. I have plans of running a gas line to the room and giving it a wall mounted propane heater

Was putting this together for someone else too and figured id share it here. Total cost is $560 plus maybe a few bucks for mouser shipping.
640w total light and the exact same components that come in the HLG kits.

It might be a few dollars higher for taxes and shipping if you dont have prime. I think I just paid around $17 for taxes and shipping for the 2 drivers I ordered from mouser last night. Decently under $600 for sure even if u add in the cost of a few ratchet hangers.
But yeah thats 640w of GOOD led light. id do a 3k/4k/3k panel on each run personally.
Spread those 2 rows of 3 out a couple feet and put your other ones hanging in the middle and that should be a very solid setup for the space youre using.
You could also do any combination of number of panels and single or double heatsinks, just change the options in the links.

My basement is an extremely consistent 52-54F. My tents at lights off are 54-56F. My veg and 600W flower tents are about 70-72F lights on, and my 1000W flower tent is about 74-76F lights on.
I have noticed that two of my own strains that I've been growing for a few years grow a tad bit slower due to the cold relative to the last property I lived in (where there was more heat in the basement), but all-in-all, I'm very happy with things.

Yeah those are the "light engines" as in the board and heat sink. The drivers you can get yourself, like I say the XLG will be cheaper than the HLG and its smaller and lighter.
I replaced 1.5x 600hps with 4 boards (I ran 3x 600s over 4x ages ago.
The beauty of getting the boards as singles instead of the twin heat sink/boards is you can space them slightly further apart for better coverage.

I was thinking something similar, move to the corner and add partitions of something reflective, 13 x 11 is way too much area for the light you have. If needed, partitions could also retain more heat in that cool basement.
Id go DE 1000 watt gavitas. for price and ease. start with 2 and see if the heat becomes a issue. and 4 would light the area nicely. I would try and keep the temp more around high 70s to low 80s
