Only here to suggest methods of storing beans for long periods of time. Cool, dark, dry place. Air tight. Slowest possible degradation. I have a really good germination success rate, even with older beans

No issues. Just being a "Richard". I'm lost beyond dry conditions. Freezer, vacuum or in the rafters in a box just rolling around?? I get germ rates that make me question a few folks methods for sure.

Never done the freezer before, but I have done the crisper drawer in the fridge, desiccant in blacked out jar, bags inside bags, inside the jar.

Also, I germinate in 6oz glasses of water, warm / dark place. If beans are really old I score them multiple times with a sharp razor, or if they aren’t popping after a few days

I've tried many. And the only constant is dry in a tightly closed container. I hope someone figures it out. But I'm leaving beans in my will. So get on it. LOL.
