I'm posting about this before I get close to moving my plants out into the forest cause I want to get all the feedback possible.
When growing outdoors, what are some vital things I should do too keep my plants safe and healthy?

Grow in small plots. Give them enough water, fertz. Add a small fence or something to keep them protected. And the most important thing - Tell no one!

igthy is right tell no one that is rule number 1 in my book, that cuts your chances of being busted or ripped off in half, just my thoughts,

Scout the area you are wanting to grow in, such as how much light will they receive, what's the soil like, is there any human traffic such as hunters...etc. Try wearing an old sock around for a few days let it get good and stinky, cut it into thin strips and tie them near your plants. This will keep deer from eating your plants. Also try putting up chicken wire or fishing line around your plants, this will keep the rest of the critters away. Oh and don't forget about the bugs! Hope this helps some and good luck!
