5/20 tonne press + pressure gauge + 2 hot plates with digital controls welded on = less than 1000 bucks easily. I've seen 20 tonne presses for sale for like 100 bucks used. Or get a 5. You'll need a compressor too but they aren't too expensive compared to the insane cost of rosin presses.

If you don't need a huge quantity you can always use a hair straightener with digital control or an Iron and some wax paper. Can make a few grams at a time no issue.

Parchement paper, the wax on wax paper will melt from the heat. Waxy rosin, yuck

buy from https://www.lowtemp-plates.com/ , and buy a harbour press from your local Lordco, Canadian Tire, Princess Auto .... I bought a 10 ton from Canadian Tire with the 4x7 and it works well but if I could have gotten a 20 ton press instead of a 10 ton it would have been much better.
