So I got my electric fogger today and the velocity is too strong I think. Like wind burn strong. I'm thinking of returning it and buying a pancake compressor to use a paint sprayer like you do. Velocity control is a required feature in my opinion. I just applied some bug juice tonight with the amazon fogger. I'll see if they're wind burned tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Love the dewalt. High quality. I can't use it though because if I hit the bottom of the leaves for mites the spray hits my lights and electrical above. Had to switch back to a hand spray bottle until I figured out a longer term solution. I'm digging the paint sprayer idea at the moment.

I’ve got one of these that gives me the misty spray I’m looking for, but it doesn’t work well upside down (for spraying up under the canopy) and it makes my hand cramp up after a while.

My hydro store had a half gallon old school pump and spray I love it perfect for Monterey BT

Someone recommended a paint sprayer and I blew it off initially until my ULV fogger wind burned the shit outta my plants after 1 application. I discovered the air velocity was far too strong for indoor plants. Bent the fuckers sideways it was so much air output.

Another fella recommended a paint sprayer with a compressor. I really like the idea of a paint sprayer but I don't wanna buy a compressor and all the shit that goes with it to make it work. Then I started checking out electric paint sprayers. Much cheaper.

The paint sprayer produces the same atomizing effect with a lower velocity output so there's no risk of wind burn or hitting your lights with pesticide while spraying the undersides of the leaves. I'm ordering it tonight if I don't find another paint sprayer I like better. Wagner is typically good stuff though so I'll probably stick with this one. And it's almost $40 cheaper than the fogger.

The velocity is absolutely perfect for indoor pesticide applications in smaller grow rooms. I tried out a ULV fogger for about $130 off amazon and the unit works well for what it does, but is absolutely impractical and inappropriate for smaller indoor gardens. I used it once and I was very concerned with the velocity of air coming out of the fogger. It was like a jet engine mixed with mist powered by a 1200w motor. It caused wind burn damage on all plants the following day. They drooped immediately after drying. I had a feeling it was overkill so I'm sending it back and replacing it with the paint sprayer above.

If the ULV foggers operated at a lower velocity they would be fantastic. ULV foggers unfortunately don't work that way. High output velocity is required to produce the misting / fogging effect. Great for outdoor large plant applications. Just not a good fit for smaller indoor plants.

I'll report back after I try out the paint sprayer. I really don't want to go back to messy pump sprayers. I think I'm gonna hit paydirt here though
