Best Seeds for CFL.

I'm looking to start a small grow projest for personell use. At the moment I cannot affors mh, or hps lights. Nor can I afford the lighting bill... lol So I was thinkinh CFL. What would be the best seed strain for CFL??

I'm getting ready for a project. Some one said pc grow. So I'm going to build a box 1' x 1' x 2' and use some pc fans I have laying around and that 72w hps security light they have at lowes. $40.00. If you have to buy your fans most computer shops have them for around $5.00 and I bet you or some body you know has a computer case some where. Then the timer I have never bought one so I don't know. Prob $15 - $20. Get a mechanical one you don't want one of those digital one's. Then do lst. I don't think you can get any cheaper than that and stay at the recomended 50w per foot. Train on bag seed till you get it down to a science

I have been wondering where I could find lower watt hps'.
You said 72w hps security light at lowes for 40.00. Have you seen any other hps' for cheap (looking for like a 100 -200 w)

So by from how you described it as a security light I suspect it is some sort of motion sensor fixture? Please explain further.

I feel weird (people watchin) when I go to Lowes. I am always stoned and the only reason I go is for growing supplies.
It seems like I have to psych myself up to go in there.
I always do research on their website before I go so I know what I want, but I have not seen what your talking about.

Looks like it would work with reg light socket. Will it or does it have a special type socket it goes with?

I bought some bulbs like that(different brand) but they didn't work in a regular socket,,I took them to a hydro shop and he didn't know why they wouldn't work either sooooo.

Hmm That is what I was thinking.
I think they have some sort of start up boost.
I would think some sort of ballast would be in play in the fixture.
Like the cfl's have their ballast built in their tops between screw connector and the actual bulb.

Go to the out door lighting secition they are not with the regular lighting. Yes it comes with all the works plus that outdoor sensor. I took the whole thing apart and got rid of the sensor. I think it was $42 or $52 after tax don't remember. I bought it to grow but it was to small for what I wanted. Then I learn from here. Thank you growers. Now I see no reason why I cant in side a 1 foot box with LST grow at least 4 - 5 10 inch buds.
