Best Smoking Devices

Dynavap is the best way to use cannabis I've tried. I also use a Solo 2 while cooking and xmax v3 pro while outside. I can eat the vaped bud to get stoned. Haven't smoked anything in years and don't intend to again. Desktop (injector) vapes are nice, but I don't need to get THAT high.

Seriously. If you never smoked you should go for a vape. I never smoked tobacco, but there were no vapes in the late 90's when I started using cannabis. I smoked bongs and joints, but never liked it. When my habit got bigger I realized I really don't want to smoke that much. It didn't feel good. Luckily by then there were good vapes. I vaped for a few years, then broke my vape and tried smoking. The high was no better, but it was more disgustung and so much more smelly. Went back to vaping.

Do you find that you use more vaping? I have a pax3 that i liked but it seemed to take more product to achieve the same effect. Plus I tried smoking (bong hits) of the remaining vaped weed and i got pretty high which says the vape may not be extracting all the thc like smoking. Now that i am growing I will have to try the pax again.
For efficiency, (getting the most out of a small amount) nothing beats the HerbalAire. But it's also the fussiest and takes many minutes. The Pax3 is a great grab and go quick hitter, but it benefits from stirring up the oven contents after the first hits, packing it down, and taking another rip. Or you can simply collect the oven contents when you are done, and save it for edibles. I use mostly cured buds for edibles, but add the "pooh" as a supplement, so nothing is wasted, except me!

Which do you use? Is the effect the same without all the lung exposure
My first flower vaping experiences were with cheap little units, and I thought they didn't get me as high as a joint.
Years later, I tried a Stortz & Bickle "Plenty." A world of difference. The plenty has no batteries, so it has to be plugged into 120V, and it uses a lot of weed per charge. But it's a convection vaper with good temp control and produces some amazing hits. In the final analysis, a vape can get you higher than combustion, because there's a limit to how much smoke you can breath, but almost no limit to how much you can vape. The vape give you just the "good suff," while combustion adds a lot of "bad stuff."
The PAX units are a tour de force of industrial/consumer design, kind of like Apple products. They use a conduction oven that bakes the weed, and the draw is a little harder and hotter (short pipe to the oven) but I still like it best for the blend of convenience, size, and effects.
Finally, the HerbalAire units blow up balloons with convection, like the famous Volcano, but they cost a lot less. Probably the cleanest hit, but with the most paraphernalia and prep.
