Anywhere it is green has good soil, and probably high humidity. Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee all have pretty mild weather and fertile soil. good growing seasons. wisconsin and minnesota are good too but the weather frosts pretty early there. Too far south and the humidity and heat probably become a problem. Too far north and you get early frost. Central eastern united states and the west coast, and hawaii, are probably the best places in the US to grow
Exactly, that's why I said Kentucky, particularly south and west..a lot of people grow in eastern ky because there's nothin out there, but I've seen better buds in southwest, ky. The hot/humid areas creating high frequency of Fems combined with chilling factor during late fall in the areas you mentioned make them the best.

Mississippi State University grows cannabis near or on their campus.
But I believe if you get caught growing in Mississippi, it is a mandatory life sentence... So... not worth it to me.

Nah, that's in North Mississippi, lol. There was a documentary about it on youtube. From what they said that is the ONLY federally funded MJ farm. It kinda looks like crap weed too; at least the plants I saw on that video.

Well, they do a lot of research there too, so it's really not about the patients at all.
Every scientist that gets a federal grant to do MJ research has to use MJ from this farm.
