Don't come to Colorado. Selling to dispensaries is not allowed in this state. They have to grow their own or buy from another dispensary.

Here in Michigan the MJ card thing has been going for a couple years. The papers are full of MDs advertising
to help you get a MJ card for $150. I think it is more wide open here than just about anywhere I'm aware of.
In fact, I am looking into supplying dispensaries with clones myself.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I dont think its a bad topic to be interested in. People that dont grow have to get their medicine from dispensaries.. thats just how it is. I don't mean to offend cannabiscult

idk, i don't understand your thinking.. you admit that you make a legal living from mmj, but then when someone asks how to do the same you jump all over them, what are you afraid they're going to cut into your bottom line or something?
not trying to be a dick here, but when he slam someone for asking how to sell weed then you come out and say you make a living from mmj, kind of makes you sound like a hypocrite imvho..

no heres why im not a hypocrit. while others offer butane extracts and sell them for high profits i realize the potential danger and dont do it. i only care about quality. there is no bottom line the market changes everyday and i am isolated in my town so i have no fear of competition....however my goal is not to go to the new hot spot and capitalize on a market that people have spent years to build ( band wagoners beware). ive worked my ass off to get here and been in this since the bigining moving here from an illegal state where i grew. i moved to co before the medical boom. now i see everyone and their mother thining about a quick buck and heading to co. and washington.

im not trying to be a dick ive just got a fuck load invested and hate seeing people turn my hard work into a get rich scheme.

i apologize , had a rough day and im all fired up. sorry again

A few correct points on Colorado Dispensaries

1. They only have to grow 70% of their product
2. The remaining 30% is usually bought to provide additional variety, many dispensaries sell this as private stock at a higher cost
3. Because edibles and concentrates are rarely produced by the dispensaries they account for a large portion of this 30%
4. It is not impossible to sell flowers to Colorado dispensaries but a lot of them already have contracts in place that have been in place for a few years now
5. Speaking from experience the profit margins from selling to dispensaries sucks, I make only about $250 profit per pound that I sell to them
6. Hoping to sell any products to dispensaries without a contract in place is a exercise in frustration. Come with a pound they will tell you they need hash, come with hash the next week an they will need wax, the frustration never ends.

You got yours so fuck everyone else. I mean as long as we maintain the status quo your business is safe but if we add some competition you might have to work for a living...

we're allowed to "donate" our excess meds to a dispensary and THEN BUY IT BACK at a discount.

only politicians and beerocrats can come up with nonsense like this.

out first dispensary opened last week, and he could only serve about 2/3rds of the people who showed up and would only sell small amounts. he's selling so so weed for $60 an 1/8th. $450 an OZ.

yeah, i'll be donating to this creep.
