Best Tasting Strains

I just thought there should be a thread where people can post about specific strains they have liked the taste of.

Blue Dream is usually a safe bet, but sometimes it's not great.

I have never had Big Buddha Cheese in Colorado where I knew for sure what it was, but when I was in Texas someone told me that was what I was buying once, and it tasted awesome.

Then recent;y I noticed Chocolope, White Nightmare & Green Crack are good. And I forget what I had once that actually tasted Lemony but there was a lemon something that actually tasted lemony.

And there are tons of others, I just should have been writing them down this whole time.

Does anyone else know of any.

I find taste to be one of the more difficult aspects to talk about when it comes to cannabis.

One of the first issues that we encounter is preferences are subjective. What may be a stellar taste for some, isn't someone else's cup of tea.

The second, and perhaps more interesting issue we run into with taste is phenotype expression and frequency. How often does this expression appear? Is it a dominate trait, or is it mixed in there since most of the strains on the market are poly hybrids, it may be random.

ETA clone only strains at least allow a strain to more or less have a specific taste.

You usually have a stock pile don't ya?
I hate to totally empty a jar of something good if I don't have refills available soon. I've got just a few nugs of Chernobyl and Melon Gum left that I can't make myself finish...:(

However, three consecutive monthly chops means I'm good on sweet pineapple c-99 for awhile after being out a month. One easing me into today, in fact. :weed:

I hate that feeling too, but I gotta help out people if they need it. I always make sure I've got what I need, but sometimes I'm stuck on hash for a while waiting for the next plants to come down.

I just gave away some very well, 2 month cured Blueberry Hill. Was sad to let her go, but someone needed it.

ETA You are making me wanna put Female C99 in my shopping cart :weed:

Amen on the Dairy Queen. If great flavors are the goal, you can hardly go wrong with the early TGA strains.

You really need a 2nd bloom tent, amigo. I may have influenced a few folks on getting the c-99. Just be prepared to get exactly what the description says. I know that's quite a concept. :eyesmoke:

i'm a sucker for the good ole Jack Herer, and a tasty C99...Yup I know they are related... I wanna pop some chucky's bride...
I've finally gotten back to Chuckys Bride - 4 clones of 2 moms are 3 wks into bloom, and killing it. Cheese and pineapple...well, yeah. :weed:

I know man, I've been trolling the opengrow forum, and they have some TASTY lookin pics of that one and the selene, and the chocolate rain, and the sannie jack, etc, etc. But the pics of the chucky's bride and the description have gotten my attention.... course i'm still doing a pheno-hunt on the sugarpunch and I have two freebies (jackberryXmad scientist), four new clones... ahhh.. Damnit. Need more room.
Edit-- Which C99 do you have?

Trust me, if I had the space, I would totally have a second bloom tent. May try to get something in the works for a satellite location. I have the funds to get it set up, just gotta influence the person I have in mind. Either way, mid next year I will have a new location. Don't know where, or may have some complications due to relationship, but once you get growing in your blood, its not something you can just stop.

ETA, you got your hands on Fat Marty beans correct? The taste of the grape stomper was exactly that, grape in flower, grape in the jars.

Female Se-eds. I've ran 5 beans at different times over a couple of years, and they always turn out like clones of one another. Other people now running it get the same thing, so in my mind, it's the only c-99 you'd need. And they're fems. :) And they're inexpensive. :) :)

I've got two Fat Grape Cheese clones in bloom [ 2 wks ] atm looking great. Two Fat Marty's [GS] were attempted a couple of weeks ago. One never got out of the cube after splitting, and the other has struggled - healthy roots, but very slow growth. It got left behind when moving 6 healthy seedlings into buckets to veg, but I'll clone it for later when it gets it's legs.

I had a couple beans do that to me as well. Have a few left and am going to save them for when I'm in the mood for an adventure and possible preservation/crossing. At least with the lone female I had, and I did have two males, they need some time in veg to get to a decent size.
