Best Temperature for Classic Volcano

Hey guys, I have only ever used a Digital Volcano before and I loved it. Recently a friend gave me his Classic Volcano as he did not enjoy vaporizing as much. (FOR FREE!) I couldn't believe my luck! :weed:

Now the question, what temps (Number on the Dial not an exact degree temp as this does not have that) do you fine tokers use with the most success? :eyesmoke:

Thanks! I just got a loose unit I didn't get any collateral with it, and my stoner ass didn't think to google some temps in correlation with the numbers.

As there is much conflicting info about temps and I appreciate and value the opinion of the forum members here I am still interested in what you guys prefer :)

Depends on what type of experience you want: If you wish to have similar to actual smoking around 380F. If you wish a panorama 280F and work up. Its interesting
Thank you for your response! I appreciate it :) What do you mean by panorama?

The various cannabinoids and THCs come out at diff temps, it's distillation. Thus at lower temps only the more volatile (lower vape temp) come off so as you go up in temp you'll cook off other compounds and whatever med effect body/mind effect they have
Ah yes seeing that dial evergreen posted and reading this makes it all makes sense what you were getting at, thank you much! I am SO excited to have my own Volcano and in another 50 mins I will fire her up!:eyesmoke:

I put .5 in my chamber and get 3 to 4 bags I start at temp setting right in between 3and4 then I go to 6 then 7 then 7.5 or 8 if Im going to run a 4th bag

The main reason I am so excited is I always wanted to play with temps but when you don't own one you don't control the dial lol, now I'm independent bongsmilie

This is great information for anyone new to vaporizing, I really never would have thought through this "panorama" experience a lot of information I have found in regards of what temps to vape says straight 350-375 so glad I asked here instead :blsmoke:

I like to smoke/vape at high temp the first time or two I try a new strain. After that I play the increasing temperature game to sort out the diff effects
See man I'm the other way around I like to go with the lower temps the first time around as I like to taste flavor profiles first but I vapor all my canisters in the way I said above starting low and going high unless I'm using the vape for extracts then I always run around 7.5-8.5

Also don't put wax dabs shatter or any extract in that canister unless you have the whisker for it or you'll have a sticky mess everywhere I bought a second canister for just extracts as they get super sticky so I prefer not to have to do cleaning every time I decide to put flowers back into my canister
