well yield has a lot to do on strain, amount of sunlight, nutes... etc.. flowering starts around the area is around mid August or so. As for the animals I've heard of urinating around your plants. Plants can easily get over 10 feet in the right conditions. I would put the plants out after your expected last frost. In my area, NY, the weather is looking up and it's supposed to average 60-70 daily temps for as long as they forecast. I'll be starting plants within the week or so and have them outside around the 25th of April or so. But if you put a plant out late april/early may...yield definitely won't be a problem.

ive never done outside grows before, but many times while ordering seeds the site will have a specific time or date to start your grow outside, and expected harvest time. id go to a seedbank site and check out the different strains and see what the most common time is to start an outside grow. what ive seen is usually late april or june. human hair around you plants will keep almost all small animals away.
