I was told by a trained pro maybe ive got the 'virus' bit wrong but so been told and read its a bit more difficult to kill thqt the average powdery infections that we get growing..it started to show its self as yellow leafs then ended up looking like it had been burnt as in the name, apple trees get it bad but my local hydro shop had one other case in the 15 or whatever years it had been open so very rare..think came from old rain water in the water butt but all thats by the by what was after was a sure way to clean all my kit and room down please.people..and if got virus or infection and go.doctors you get the same antibiotics that they use to kill this stuff but i tried.for a month to.cure the last mum i had first with need oil then with the antibiotics that the hotriculist mate made up for me, said what would use on fruit trees and roses but think was to far.gone and in the.soil/roots so was a lost cause..hence fresh start..thanks for.help mike4..
