I was really talking about availability vs. lockout. I do know that too high a pH can affect the availability of Mn for plants. When you pay for recommendations from soil tests, then it should look at your Mn recommendation according to the adjusted assumed pH brought upon by other recommended adjustments. Plus a good soil analysis should include not just how much NPK is available to plants, but also that which is still locked up what that bacteria and fungi continually provide, and what that rate of supply is.
