I agree Jagle. I would stay away from the paper towel thing. It does work and I have done it myself, but If you leave them too long at all you can damage the tap root's little fine hairs as they become entangled in the fiber of the towel.

Plant in soil about an inch deep, Wet it down really good and keep very moist until seedling pops its head through... LOL :)

i think the whole towel thing for germinating is a bad idea. Ur better off going with the water in a cup and waiting for the seed to sink.

:bigjoint: in a room 70 degrees, clear class , mineral water 2 inch deep, place seeds inside, wait till you see a crack,
looks just like the white of an eye through a small crack after 12 to 48 hrs.
do not touch seeds with your hands remove soaked or even better cracked seeds with the use of a tea spoon, place your seeds into your preprepared and watered 10cm plant pot with half multi purpose compost and top half of pot with vermiculite.
plant seed to a depth no more than half inch to 3 quorter inch deep in the vermiculite.
vermiculite is a very lite material so the seed will have no trouble pushing through this.
Wet compost can be very heavy for a little seed to brake through.
Cover the pot with a small transparent plastic bag and wait. :hump:

If you have bought your seeds then they have cost you money so don't make a mess of it, this method works very well and it's so worth the effort. :eyesmoke:
