Best way to get bigger yield

dude that would be pimp ass. 100 plus bud sites is what i'm after. Will the buds be as big as if i just let the plant grow on its own and had only one top cola??? My goal is to grow a few about the size of what FDD has grown. Damn he's got some nice plants. I don't understand how he gets such a massive yield out of his thre plants. Something like 6 or 7 pounds off of like 3 plants. Fuckin eh

I haven't seen fdd's plants could you pm me a link or post it. I am just getting underwat withna grow very similar to M blaze and his pics of the new girls ( name of thread, sorry don't know how to insert links with my iPhone) I'd be very inerested to see another big grow... I'll do a search.

The new budsites should be similar in size to the would have been single cola had you not trained. The two factors I can point out are that the cola or top of the plant recieves the most light in horizontal setups and the plant knows that this is the top or area of new growth so when it comes time to bud that's where the majority of the growth budwize occurs.
When you train the plant you are tricking it into thinking it has more than one top ( which it does... But not normally) in response to this the plant will develop more roots and stronger branches and main taproot. So to turn one plant into many. The plant senses the increase in light in areas that weren't getting as much and chemical reactions take place to encourage " extra " growth. Now 100 budsites is not impossible butbwould take paitence and a fairly long veg and or fast growing genetics. Reasonably you could get between 25-40 per plant in a 8 week veg from an established clone of known sex. And I mean tops not counting lower stragglers which you can cull early to promote the top bud growth.. But don't remove the fan leaves if anything try to make the leaf canopy as even as possible

What is the best method to get a bigger yield out of topping fimming LST or lollipopping??
I find that FIMming, trimming and some LST combined makes for great yields along with some good veg time of coarse.

I find more plants helps my yield out.
You dont need more plants for a higher yield, you just need to grow your plants bigger

i agree with more plants 100% i'm gorwing 3 cause i'm pretty sure thats what the law permits without getting charged criminally. I tried to put them in deeper holes but that didn't work out to well becasue i broke my piece of shit shovel from wal-mart. Now my holes are like a foot and a hhalf deep by like a foot. The ground was pretty hard so i'm hoping the roots don't have a hard time to grow nice and big. Another problem i might have with them growing big is that they are kinda shaded by trees. They get sunlight but not as much sunlight as i would like them to have. If i had my way they would be in full sun all day long. The only way to do that is to bring them back home and thats not an option with the lanlord living upstairs. I may however dig them up ground and all so that i don't have to worry about stressing them and planting them somewhere else.

sounds good...u should see great results when u go to bud.

if you know that you have a female i would seriously consider always supercroping the clones ...even if you want to run min veg time you will see an increase in yield vs the straight up root and go... just giving them the extra week of veg to get oriented after the bend....and you can prob supercrop the clone before you cut provided its a large enough clone...none of those 2"ers... a good 5-6 incher should do....a flat plant has many tops
