best way to transition to 12/12?

so whats the best way to go about switching from 18/6 to 12/12? is it better to switch during the day or the night?(plant day/night anyway)

on your last day of 18/6 just turn the lights off at what will be their new ending time on 12/12 and have them come on the next day at what will be their new starting time so that they get 12 hours of darkness.

i normally do a 36 hour dark spell in between the transition then let them awake to bud blood and i will see flowers or balls withen a week

ther is nothing special that YOU HAVE TO DO there are some things you can do..... above some things i do everyone is different here

i suggest making the light come on at night to keep temps low, and id just switch it during the dark period.
