Best way to utilize 4x4' and 4x2' tents?

Hi guys. I'm a relatively new grower currently growing 5 autoflowers in my 4x4 tent. A really good deal on a 4x2 with a nice light came up on FB Marketplace and I couldn't not get it, so now I have a 4x2' tent as well.


What would you guys do? Grow auto flowers in the 4x2 and do a scrog net in the 4x4 with photos? Or should I skip growing autos and use the 4x2 for veg and the 4x4 for flower? Or something else?

Use the 2x4 to start seeds or clones and veg out plants, send them to the 4x4 for flower.

I agree with above... depending on strain LST for some sweet sativas... I've always had luck tying down the branches to the tent frame with hemp rope. Hydro or soil?

To take it a step further, you could, when it comes time, harvest whatever's in the 4x4, put whatever's in the 2x4 into the 4x4 to start new flower, and use the 2x4 for drying.

Finish the auto's in the 4x4, while they finish start vegging photos in the 4x2. When the 4x4 becomes available again add the photo's from the 4x2 then clone more new photo's from the 4x4 into the 4x2. You can use half the 4x2 for cloning and seedlings while using the other half for auto's since they arent dependent on light cycles. You'll get more yield from the photo's, and quicker turnaround from the auto's. Out of your 4 photo's there will be one that outperforms the others. keep its clones and toss the rest, you now have clones that should grow as good as the mother. if not choosing for growth traits choose based on the quality of the one that has the best flavor or effects.

Add it face to face with the current tent and make a bigger tent space.

veg a few photo mothers in the 4x2.. take clones and mono-crop the 5x5. Flower out mothers when you want something different.
