Bets option for veg light

I have a small tent for vegg. I have an old cfl bank in there. Its a 2 ft 8 bulb light. I don't really like it too much.

I was considering getting 250 watt feliz bulb and get a small hood for it.

my other option is a low watt MH probably also a 250.

I'm pretty sure most people will say MH but Unless it's a night and day diff. I would rather not have to deal with the added heat. I'm mostly just using it to vegg clones and seeds for a couple weeks or till they sex.

I would suggest T5s. There great for veg and create little to no heat.

For clones, seeds and vegging - save your money and stick with the CFLs.

Thats the samething i was gonna recommend...The T5 HO will do just fine and wont be as hot cause like you said u need the temps in there CONTROLLED...HID lighting puts off so much heat,,,but if you VENT properly and put it in a cooltube..that would b great and would work...But if not,yea,the T5s wont let u down..just mix the spectrums of the bulbs in the ballast! Hope that helps
