Better lights compared to my current ones?

I really cheaped out on my tent for a better light I went with the Chinese tents on wish only paid $40 shipped for a 2x4x6 it's no gorilla tent for sure but is basically retrofitting a closet of almost the same size so serves its purpose perfectly I got lucky on this one and have no light leaks but it is in a dark closet so wouldn't matter anyway but my wife got a 2x2x4 for overwintering her outside potted plants that does have pinhole leaks but they're just houseplants that don't care, so it is a risk but can suit a situation well
the problem for me is just getting any tent here. idk why it is so hard for people to ship a tent here it's not that heavy a single person can carry it by hand or use a hand truck. im just waiting on the quotes for now i think they didn't respond cause it's the weekend and they might be closed or their department that handles the emails are closed but if anything imma just keep looking. i mean it's not a huge deal just tired of all the light leak i get from outside my closet plus im sure a tent would be more beneficial over my closet for growing just due to the reflection.

haven't had much chance to really look up anything lately been swamped at work and we are understaffed. people quiting left and right

ended up finding a company that will send me a tent for fairly.. cheap. vivosun via amazon. compared the weights 30lbs to 31lbs idk wth they can't ship it though. found another company today that sells the gorilla tents saves me about $50 on shipping but total cost is about $410 for a 4x4 tent. gonna start saving up i guess get everything ready maybe in another grow i can run the tent or mid grow on my next run. want to have enough money to not worry about air exchange. the exhaust fan isn't too expensive though

The gorilla tent has much better construction. Vivosun tents have shitty zippers that leak light in my experience. Spend the extra money and get the gorilla.

Have a look at Apollo tents

they are pretty cost efficient and are very well made.

I agree about the vivosun tents, i love their lights and fans but will not buy a tent from them, my buddy has one and its not very good quality compared to the Apollos

Gorilla is obv the best of the best, but your paying that premium for sure. they are expensive

in the end imma probably splurge on the gorilla tbh if imma buy a tent online with no other options locally to buy a tent i might as well go big. im pretty sure i can sell it easily if anything. the store in cali has better price as well i guess thats because it's closer to me. the other store was in florida would of taken longer just to ship as well. going to start moving my shit around tomorrow and get a good map out of my area so i can buy it asap. i got maybe a good 6 weeks before my next grow is started so gives me some time to get a vent as well. i can buy a vent here but idk much about them don't want to splurge on the 4x4 just yet incase i mis calculated and not im fked with a weird bedroom layout.

Might sound obvious but have you considered an air cooled hood for a HID/HPS? Mine work really well at controlling the temps in the tent.

you talking to me? don't think i can run HPS without running an AC ontop of that. climates here are steadily in the 80's with high humidity year round. winter time it drops but not by much plus i need as much head room as i can get because the tents ceiling is only 6'7" can add an extension but ceiling fan is in the way pretty much use it during the summer so it's okay for now. people sell HPS setups here so i got to see how big and bulky they are and yea they take up some decent space for my liking.

I think an H-influx or F series would work well due to the large output angle of 115 degrees.
You'd probably get away with one strip running the length of the tray.
thanks! so maybe another stupid question.. are these all DIY only? anywhere you know of I can learn about strips? I am now in the know but am up to learn, I have went through all of growmaus5s videos to learn all about cobs and that DIY and have done a few builds. something similar you could link me too?
