Nice to find out the BBB takes the accredidation away from the place a week after I order a fan from them. Luckly I used paypal so I should be able to get a full refund or atleast i'm trying.

Anyways, I wouldn't order from these people......

The BBB is a joke. I've dealt with and know people who have dealt with online and brick and mortar businesses that were bbb accredited with A and A+ ratings that should never even be in business. Don't bother with the BBB and look for reviews and info like this. Thanks pazuzu420

Businesses exist like this because there is an endless supply of first time customers. People are born at a higher rate than they make sales so they can continue to operate without ever shipping a single item. If for some reason enough word does get out, they can just change their name and start over. Big "reputable" companies are no better because their job is done once they snuff their competition, just look at Microsoft and any cable company for instance.

It is amazing that they can practice such in such a deviant manner. I consider myself lucky in that I used PayPal to make my purchase so my identity was not revealed to the company, they also have buyer protection, and I spent very little money comparatively. There are many, many, many higher priced items available there; I could not imagine the stress of trying to be compensated for a purchase of larger amount.
Being a veteran of the internet, using before there were 'movin pictures', I usually take the time to do little research before I purchase something and the one time I do not, I was bit. I am not advocating the BBB, but when I clicked the banner that is on the page, it brings up the complaint report for that business. Just clicking the link would have saved me many hours of time and effort, we live, we learn.
It would be nice if the BBB would actually represent itself as what it was intended for, but like everything in our lives, it is dominated by the control of big business and stuffed deep pockets.

You pay a yearly membership to be accredited by the BBB they will take you off if you have to many "unresolved" complaints but besides that they are there for the money! I managed an auto shop for a few years that was a member of the bbb! they dont have a place for customers to say how well a business is doing just if there are complaints and if they are resolved! I saw my BBB rep once a year (when dues were due)! we never had any complaints and always stayed in good standing but DEVK is pretty much right! you are in good standing if you pay and dont have complaints sent to them! It is pretty much businesses paying for a "name". anything the bbb can do for you, you can do for your self! look for complaints! I have seen a few business that were in good standing with the bbb but found plenty of complaints thru google! I am sorry for what happened to you! but best price isn't always the best deal! I google search every company before I buy anything from them! and if there are zero reviews I usually stay away as well! Hope you get your cash back!
