BHO at Dispensaries, Safety and Legal ??s

I keep seeing a ton of explosion reports here and even more from all over, so why do dispensaries carry butane extractions?

And wouldn't the pigs go straight for vendors who provided a club BHO if they did a raid and found records?

After making ISO, BHO, Benzine and Ethanol I finally decided Ethanol is my favourite but BHO is much faster.

I would guess they sell it due to this.

people buy it therefore they sell it

I don't know how they get away with it if it's a felony.

Because that is the product everyone wants. People will pay $40-60 a gram for them. It's not illegal to buy, sell, posses them. Only to make them.

No. Usually clubs have some sort of protection in place so that vendors aren't exposed in raids.

I just read through that 'growers union' thread. You said clubs are increasingly turning to growing their own meds, cutting out indie growers. How has this climate impacted concentrates?

I'd like to be able to offer ice wax or whatever you want to call solventless ice water extract bubble hash to clubs, but I don't have experience in dealing other than as a customer. Is there a market for this kind of thing, or has BHO taken over? And/Or maybe because the clubs grow their own flowers, they've got plenty of trim for all kinds of concentrates?

It really hasn't so far. While most clubs can pretty easily figure out how to do an in house grow, very few make their own concentrates. Nearly all of them contract out for that.

BHO has taken over. There is a very small market for high end full melt bubble has, but it only exists at a select few clubs. It you want to sell bubble hash to a club it has to be amazing. Even then you have to take it to the right club and usually they already have a guy who does it.

Well usually what these clubs do is contract out for their in house. They have a guy who picks up their trim and makes it into bho for them on a 50/50 split. Usually they stick to bho because it's more profitable for them to contract out to get bho made than make bubblehash themselves and keep all of it. It's very difficult to get these contracts though. Usually it goes to someone who's been vending them concentrates for several years.

If you want to vend concentrates you must be prepared to have your own substantial year round fresh trim sources. People make BHO because it will get you ~$15-20 for high quality wax or shatter while getting a 10-20% yield off of trim runs. Bubble hash will generally bring you in $5-10 a gram with ~5% yield. It's just more profitable to make it into bho. If you want to be in the medical marijuana business you have to treat it like a real career. That means considering the economics of what you're doing. This is why you see BHO instead of bubble hash. It's what people pay more money for and it yields better.
