wet trim can freeze up and cause blow back. It isnt safe use dry trim only..
 
just made some bho.. came out a little runny and it still is (18 hours later).... any thoughts? is it because I decarbed beforehand

well hmm any pics?? i dunno man that sux, all i gotta say is use a glass extractor with quality bone dry flowers or trim, and quality butane, you know the rest, and purge it or whip it up and i guarantee it wont be runny anymore
 
Hi all!! I'm new here and this is my first post on this site. Ive been making bho for a lil while now n it would b cool to get some tips. im mostly interested in learning different purging techniques and knowing whether or not im gettn all the tane out. Also ive noticed i get a different consistency and yeild per strain. is this normal?? im usually gettn ~4-5g per oz. dry flowers n i use about 1-1.5cans vector per oz...i have many diff sizes of tubes (cuz i kno glassblowers) n ive noticed doing smaller amounts at a time yeilds more n the end. Idk if thts practical or not but if im makin the oil for myself i always use smaller tubes. any feed back will b greatly appreciated and ill help any1 howevr i can...thnx :)

Nibo isn't low quality.... You realize that butane can only be C[SUB]4[/SUB]H[SUB]10, [/SUB]nothing else, right? Butane is always the same quality, it's the contaminants that can cause problems.

Take a can of Nibo and spray it on a piece of glass or mirror, there will be no leftover residue, otherwise stated as; there are no contaminants.

It was a lot more than 1g of oil! LOL More like 2.5-3g....

I could take this oil and roll it between my fingers it was so thick, almost like a sugar candy.....

So many haters, yet most of them never seem to be able to validate what they say with proof.... funny how that works.
