BHO with plastic baggies

AT friend was wondering if he could add in pieces of baggies with trichromes stuck to them.. but i think it may leech chems from the plastic?

Like gallon zip locks that have residue stuck to them... could you cut them up and put it in the extraction tube along with the trim when running butane thru?

You should be fine. No plasticizers or other solubles in a Baggie. cn

Not a whole lot, but there's a satisfaction to having gotten to all of it. Make sure to shred the baggies very fine; you don't want them impeding flow and shielding good extractables ... cn

Word good point... shit it seems like the only way would be a shredder or some shit but that would defeat the purpose

If you have acetone of good purity or 91+% isopropyl, giving the baggies a rinse would be easier and safer. You can evaporate that solution to see how much gum you get for your effort. cn

LDPE is rated good in ethanol, but only fair in butane, because of softening and loss of strength. Neither is rated as excellent, with no attack.

I would use ethanol instead and make it quick.

Your maturity is astonishing as well, he's just trying to collect thc that is non smokeable and get it into a form that can be easily used.. Is that what makes him 15 in your mind?

and exactly how much thc can one expect to retrieve from a few old ziplocs? if OP cant get trim they r prbly in a non medical state if so keeping a bunch of old weed bags around sounds like a bad idea
