U.S. President Joe Biden said in an interview broadcast on Sunday that U.S. forces would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, his most explicit statement so far on the issue.

Asked in a CBS “60 Minutes” interview whether U.S. forces would defend the self-ruled island claimed by China, he replied: “Yes, if in fact, there was an unprecedented attack.”

"Here's your 50B.... and good luck, there's a lot of them"... signed, Joe.
Chump change. How much did that carrier group cost we the people?

I hope stays a cold war. Shitty way to get rich and stay in power all around.

What has me a bit concerned is that Putin and Xi recently had a little round table meeting. They might have been saying "you know what?, fuck these Americans, lets collaborate, and smoke them off the planet"... You know how office politics go.

I believe it was more how they can further collaboration with international companies ownership of most government through bribes and extortion.

Scarier thught is the ability of China and Russia, Kaspersky, to open all those back doors in our communist electronics from the thermostat to nuke mother boards.

HEHEHE.

wont happen because of mutual destruction. Also as @doublejj points out, our SSBNs are everywhere they need to be always.

Edit: I’m not a fan of Biden or Pelosi’s politics, but in both cases it’s important we flex and publicly back Taiwan. Good on them both

I'm waiting for God to do some plague or something. You know Cats and dogs living together or Republicans and Democrats agreeing on something.

The real kick may not be militarily. The US dollar (Federal Reserve slave debt notes) and alternatives to it will factor in. Saudi Arabia trading oil in something other than dollars will help open the floodgates. China has alot of gold...hmmm.

Not to mention after a cold European winter the USA may lose some of it's influence after the people toss out their puppet leaders and get a new deal from the Russians. Hungry and cold people might reject Uncle Sam, in favor of Uncle Putin.

It's all ganglang behind the scenes, and if shooting starts, the war won't be won by a bunch of chubby "vaccinated and boosted" nail painted "U.S. soldiers".

Rome is burning!
