Anyone know what this is and could it damage my plant/would it lay eggs in the soil or something? (see the yellow leaves? just happened)

No idea what it is, though it does look like an interesting little critter.

Nothing that will hurt your plant probably, looks like a predator. I'd leave it be unless I saw some foliage damage, otherwise I bet I'ts on your side and is eating other insects. WTF, just a guess.

dude its a dead bug if it was in my room. is it outside or inside??? either way it is not a wanted critter. if its a good bug then its going to be looking for food and if you have no food for it then it will leave on its own.. but imo smack dead bug:twisted:

I'm not sure if that's a spider, but I always leave the spiders. If they weave a web that constricts the plant I simply tear down the web. From my experience spiders are great predators and will help rid your garden of bad insects. They trap moths in their webs keeping budworms at bay. Strictly my opinion and experience. I've never seen a bud like that before, curious what exactly it is.

It looks carnivorous ! Leave it!

This summer I was doing a quick routine ( I didn't have bugs) Neem oil spray and out of nowhere a green lace winged emerged!! That definitely isnt one in your pic. I stopped spraying immediately as if these breed in your garden your basically protected. Which I was !!

I got it off my plant... stuck it in a water bottle cause I wanted to look at it haha. It doesn't have 8 legs, it only has 6 and 2 big antennas that look like legs. It walks slow like a walking stick/praying mantis kind of bug and kinda looks like one. But, regardless, it's off my plant haha. Would love to identify it tho! Hope it didn't lay any eggs or anything...
