Big Bang and White Widow grow at 72 days flowering w/ pics

Just a quick question about your big bang grow. I'm 7 weeks into flower on my big bang plants and I've noticed some of the big shade leaves browning up and dying, but the bud and smaller leaves look fine. I was worried until I saw your grow and it looks to me like yours did the same thing. Now, I've been growing for 10 years, and I know that as plants flower and reach the end of their life cycle, they will loose some leaves. But this seemed more than usual. Do you know if this is a common trait for this strain? Also, did you notice if big bang likes less fertilizer than usual because all of my plants seem to respond to less fert and more plain old water with a little super thrive. I've got 6 more BB seeds left, so one of my next grows will be them and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for stopping in, this thread is a blast from the past! Check out my new grow if you get a chance. I documented it from the beginning with lots of pics and it is very detailed. I am two days away from flowering right now. The link is in my signature below.

And this White Widow is still smoking great for me. I got a couple ounces of it left and I have that one giant cola (the one in my avatar) curing in a big two liter glass jar right now for the last hurrah with my White Widow! :blsmoke:

You bet I have been smoking the fuck out of those buds over the past several months. I am almost completely wiped out of the White Widow though so I am very glad to be harvesting again in around three weeks!

DillWeed +Rep to you my "Green Thumb" grower. :)

I would like to ask you where, or what source, where you able to get your Seed Pack Variety? I ordered the BB from "Kind Seed." I hope they gave me the real strain! I was fortunate enough to have access to clones. However, I am now looking to expand my variety and get the same GH seeds you mentioned ways back. Ones like, the white family, Trainwreck, and Cheese. I have a source in mind and i just wanted to see if you mention the same.

Again, amazing first real grow and happy to see that you took your babies under great care. Monster light equals monster thick buds; you are a clear example of that.

FYI, I am an experienced Hydro grower. I use both Hydro and Soil now. I can give you great help if you wanted to set up a dual hydro/soil operation in your tent. I agree about the taste but there are sugar additives to give the taste you get in soil to the hydro and you have so much more control, down to the needle, (metaphorically speaking.) I can tell you enjoy growing and I believe you would love hydro as i do. You can make one little adjustment and see the results as short as 6 hours later! Its so invigorating! I am new to the site so my status is new but I have had the G Thumb for about 5 years.
BTW, lucky you to live in cold Wx climates, I'm not so lucky and have to spend triple on electric, powering a couple 14,000 BTU Portable air conditioners to keep the temps under control. I also use MH/HPS (depending on plant phase) that equal 2,400 Watts in a 8X11 room.

Thanks for stopping in, my friend. It sure sounds like you know your stuff which is always a good thing around here. To answer your question, I got my seeds from The Attitude seedbank in the UK and they arrived to me in eight days with no problems.

And to all the rest of you who have been following this thread, I am two weeks away from harvesting my current grow (the link to it is in my signature) so check it out!
