You can buy yeast online, check the EBAY.....many wonders
Temperature is more important than humidity, or in my cases it was. Keep temps between 65 - 75

yeast will be found in the baking aisle,
molasses will be found by the pancake syrup.
unsulphered molasses- very important.
Super Plant Tonic from Blue mountain organics. It contains mychorizhal fungi and a bunch of other goodies that help grow huge root systems you need to grow huge buds. Hippies make and sell the stuff on ebay for very cheap. like 6 bucks
Good luck to you

40 percent humidity wont do too much harm, less is better than more. if it really bothers you you can run the humidifier during the veg state. Please dont run it during flower. Less humidity is better during flower. lower humidity lessens the chance of mold and pests and I've heard, can promote resin growth cause the plant is trying preserve its remaining moisture.

the reputation is that little justice scale looking thing on top of each post to the right......
and I have done this and it seems to do well in little amounts, strengthens the roots and stock, but this differs between growers.....
good luck on the grow....bro, ha rhymed

Seasoned growers here mostly recommend you let the plant use the nutes in the soil for the first 2 to 3 weeks. Feed them a 1/2 strength mix first time, then hit them a full dose 10 days or so later if they seemed to like the first one.
Remember overwatering and overfeeding are the 2 leading causes of plant failure.
We sometimes love Mary to death.

Oh also remember the NPk listed on your teas, is what is available to the plant immedietly. the contents of npk is actually much higher as they break down in the soil over time. In the case of high P guano the actual P number is 2 to 3 times higher than what is listed. So with organics we like to feed Mary slow and steady.

so with the super plant tonics from ebay etc, do you use them in conjunction with some other nutes or are they meant to be used alone?

Teamsleep... Super Plant Tonic is the best root innoculant I have every used. The NPK value in it, is not enought to feed Mary. The NPK in it, is just there to keep all the micro-beates (bacteria & myco fungi's) alive. So, you do need to fertilize, a few days after watering it in.
.
With the SPT your feeding will become very efficent. The Myco Fungi thread into your rootball and spread out hundreds of tiny feeder tubes per square inch, instead of just having a few dozen roots per square inch. So, it's like adding a supercharger to your roots. The bacteria and fungi break down all the available NPK so it becomes HIGHLY SOLUBLE.
.
So, after giving Mary a shot of SPT, go easy on the nutes, cause this web of fungi tubes will catch 90 plus percent of what you pour in and feed it to Mary through her roots. Almost nothing gets past them.
.
As a general rule, the first time you use it, wait two days before fertilizing. That gives the fungi time to fully establish themselves.
.
Also it's a good ideal to leave the cap a little loose on the bottle of SPT, because the stuff is alive. It generates a small amout of heat & methane. So, the bottle will swell if left tightly closed for too long.
.
Hope this helps...

hey guys bringing it back...

have you guys ever done yeast/sugar in the grow room v. comparison and seen major differences? and how airtight does the room have to be. and i'm no plant specialist for sure,

wanna make sure C02 is only used for respiration during the day, somebody mentioned that before i think..

thx, sorry for the hijack!

i was told on this site that the sugar and yeast method does make a difference,i myself am barley about to do it but could not find it at wal mart or h-e-b,and told that co2 is used by the plant for photosynthesis and that it would be better to give while lights are just turned on,i cant remember where i saw it on here its not on my thread things, but its on this site for sure

yeah, CO2 does make a diff.
I cant remember how much it did for me but it was noticeable.
I put 2 clones by themselves and supplemented with co2 from my paintball gun.
they grew faster and finished with more grams/foot height.
I think if you have a big room you might want to look into a co2 generator.

it naturally pushes itself out of a container but you could use something like that to push it out faster but remember to have good circulation with co2 or you can damage your plants if they use the co2 around them and can't get the byproduct of it away from their leaves
good luck, i have one of these, I only usually use it during flowering though

The addition of CO2 in your grow room is good for an increase in yield of roughtly 25 percent. If tanks are used, you must have a regulator, and a timer is nice - since you don't want to waste it (use only when lights on). If an open flame is used, kerosine lamp, coleman lantern or propane burner - caution must be used to avoid a fire. Growing is nice, burning your house down is not.
.
The simplest solution. If you are growing four plants (grow five instead) - the extra plant will give you 25 percent more yield - without the cost or fire hazard. If space is a consideration - growing in a closet, or cabinet in an apartment or house. Get some Lowryder 2 seeds (cheaper in the long run). I love these little plants, 60 days from start to finish. The stay small (18 inches & under - pot size determines height). You can fit eight of them into the same space as four regular plants. You know their sex in 20 days, males show first around 16-19 days, girls 20 - 24 days. So, growing / sexing and space required are all easy. Just leave the lights on 16-20 hours a day for best yield. You will get an ounce from each plant, possilbly up to three if you do everything just right. I've been getting an ounce to an ounce & a half per plant (dried weight) each go round (in soil - with basic nutes, SPT and no supplimental light - just sunlight).
.
The smoke is real mellow & relaxing, reminds me of Skunk - with just a hint of Head High to it.
