Big Bud. Fact or Fiction?

Anyone grow BB?big buds, the strain. Started Ny Diesel and BB flowering same time. Only a couple weeks so far, but NY is kicking BB's ass.
 
Theres an Ebay seller that sells small sample bottles to try these things out and I got a 2oz BigBud from him and yeah, I noticed nothing at all from it and went back to my General Organics nutes.
 
You may have just gotten a bad phenotype. It wouldn't be uncommon I guess. If the breeder hadn't really put the time and work into stabilizing the strain, there could be a lot of phenos. Although, most seeds only exhibit a few phenotypes.
 
I have big bud in my rotation. (400w) First round started with 12 inch plant in flower. Grew to 20.5" and yielded 1.69 oz. Second round started with plant at 20.5" when put to flower, grew to 33.25" and produced 2.33 oz. Same harvest I had an OG Kush with slightly smaller in stature that produced 2.06 oz. BB produced 'more', but I think I like the OG kush and white rhino (was also in the same round) better. I have one more BB currently in flower, but didn't take any more clones...gonna try something else. Hope that helps :)
 
Big Bud was my largest yield in a plant, 12 zips, cola as long as my forearm and as big around as my big ol head! It was kinda second rate smoke though, it was my first grow of anything.
 
ya big bud aint the best though the nycd has more sativa in it so she'll be a bit taller and critical mass is sopoused to be better its the same strain just created by mr. nice its really popular in spain they love that shit shantibaba and neville must have done a way better job as I hear people talk shit about big bud but in spain critical mass is the most popular strain

I got just over 1/4 lb from this WwXBig Bud mother plant. Top shelf quality with a fruity, berry-like taste and aroma. Easy to clone as well.
 
sounds like the same experience i had with trying chronic. odd phenos. not were really any good. most hermed. enough of that.
