Your first three plants look like some healthy little girls. But i think that those plants might be a little too young to do any pruning to them. I think that the light green color is a sign that you did damage to the plant and it is in a state of shock, hence it does not have the lush green foliage that the other three do. They never seem as big as they should, often those plants you are looking at are grown by people who know that particular plant in an immeasurable way. The longer you let it grow the more it is able to produce, keep in mind that bottom branches usually produce very little. All of your pruning experiments should have been completed at bare minimum a week before. GL
