BIG question about How to tell if you got High Grade Bud

ok, so I have an outdoor beauty with 9 bladed leaves thats growing like crazy (like a ft a week)

And several people have told me the higher the leaf blade count, the better the bud will be.

Is that true?
 
...I doubt that is true, however I have no science on it. You can flower a plant from seed and get the same dank (quality not quantity) as a year of veg, imo.
 
yea everyone who has never grown have some pretty rediculous claims. one person i knopw for example is convinced if u get small buds then they r more potent than large ones. leafs just get larger as the plant does
 
It's a myth, but it has a tiny bit of truth to it. Genetics for the most part inhibits how big they will get, however a very healthy plant may break the rule and an unhealthy plant may throw fewer blades. Doesn't mean much for potency.
