BigBud n Banji Haze Hydro grow. 60 clones cut.

ok this is my new journal now that i have a little more time to commit to growing.

Grow setup.

18x36 shop

8x12x9 veg room
current lighting is 4 4' T8 setups with 15 or so 26w CFLs
400w hps
stanley blower blowing cool air in and one circulating fan to move it around. Hot air rises out a hole in the top of the room.
temps are 75-77*F
Humidity is currently low at 35%

growing setups in the veg room.
two 50 site ezcloners
currently 30 BB and 30 banji haze clones
two BigBud mothers in 18gal tubs
one Banji Haze mother in 5gal bucket
two 24 site DWC systems currently at 380ppm 5.6ph
just put 4 BB and 4 BH in there today.

Flower Room
two 600w hps systems in aircooled hoods
435cfm fan pulling air thru both hoods and outside the shop.
one oscilating fan blowing over the canopy
one fan blowing one the pots to keep the gnats away (been a problem but this does the trick)
current plants in flower 6 100% sativa unknown strain. (ordered BB seeds got sativas, this strain is no longer growin in the shop for obv reasons.)
they are currently on day 63 and still have 4-6 weeks left at least. ugh.
these plants are in 5gal pots with promix/perlite mix
two DWC setups exactly like the veg rooms so when they have a good root system they will be moved to the flower DWC
will most likely run 4-6 of these setups in flower.
temp was really high in here... 90s... but now that its winter basically temps are 65-71*F
humidity 30%

Nutes
FF grow big and bloom
also some orchid bloom nutes
going to start using bone meal and blood meal.

buds are sativas in flower FOREVER ... they just went thru another horrid event.... outlet has a loose wire or something so it was shorting out my timers and they were arcking some. lucky i caught it. but they went thru like 30 some hours of light then 48hrs of darkness...

they started to fill in and get purple then this happened and they spurted another 2-3"s each of new buds...

also check out the top of the one main cola when this happened it broke off into 15-20 smaller buds. so weird.

Nice journal, very clean and organized, Im impressed. And those plants in flower are looking delicious . Im glad to see another Fox Farm supporter, I love the stuff and I get tired of people saying its over-rated. Fox Farm is worth every penny,and your journal proves it!!!

I hope you dont mind me dropping in. I know you didnt ask for comments, but I just wanted to be the first to say great job!! Keep it up man

thanks even tho these sativas should be done. they are some tough ass plants to live thru all i've put them thru.

and sure comments are welcome. easier to fix a problem or improve somehow here rather than in multiple threads.

been a few days since the last post.

my largest BB mom has begun to flower while in veg under 24/0 of light so shes worthless for clones.... she went into the flower room today.

pics of clones that were from the mom that was flowering... they are having a tough time rooting.....

the BB and BH DWC setups in flower have grown enormous in 11 days. just under an inch a day of growth. they were 7-9" tall when put into flower... now 15-17" and tons of bud sites. i started them under a 400w hps and i think i stretched them a little with it but they will be ok. hopefully only grow upwards for another 10 days or so.

the big sativas in flower have went thru so much i don't know if they will ever finish.... 90 days trichs still clear.

new pics of the new BBs and some BH in flower also some of the BB mom in flower that is going to be crazy cause it has 15-20 colas all on a pretty level canopy.

got issues with the DWC tubs in flower i think i have some bleaching/heat stress on one of the taller ones and some ph issues when i found the ph to be 4.4 but that is all straightened out now.

got 50 more clones ready to go into DWC veg for a week to get a some roots down in the water then into flower when i pull the ugly sativas.

the BB mom is looking awesome look at all those colas forming. and shes 110% healthy

we are on day 35 or so of flower.

couple of the plants in both DWCs are showing some browning.... one is really bad.

I'm thinking its because the ph has been really diving on me. hit 4.8 one day but was corrected right away.

please chime in if you can see what issue i'm having.

got a problem with the DWC still... must be nute burn. when i flush i'll pull them back to 700ppm or so.

but damn do they smell good and look so tasty now.

40 more BB clones that have been vegging in DWC for about a week are in flower now. let the perpetual begin.

i have 30 clones that have been in my cloner for 7 days now so they will be startin to pop roots in a couple days. so hopefully 24-26 days later i can put them into flower. and have a rotation of 3 crops.

Hey man what size of pot did you have those sativas in there?is that like a 2 or 3 gallon????? The ones on the left in your pictures.... and how tall did those plants get before you chopped them???? how much did you get out of each one dried? those buds look fat.

they were in 5gal buckets and didn't really get a harvest from them ... they never spit out trichs until day 80... then the trichs weren't developed by day 120 so i chopped them.. they are hangin still might make some edibles out of them. not sure yet.

and the next round of 40 BB clones in the DWC went into flower on 12-19-09

hey whatapothead....what is the ideal water temp of your e z cloner? i have some big bud and god bud ready to clone and im wondering if my 68 degrees is too cold? please reply ....thanx

mine runs around that temp. maybe a little warmer i have a heating pad... 1/2 under each cloner with about 12gal in each. gets up to about 70*

after my xmas break i came back to find the DWC setup (1st pic) all had fallen over, so i built a makeshift screen to help hold them up. They were fed koolbloom before i left and wow does that stuff kick ass. they have put on tons of weight and amazing amounts of trichs.


the last pic is of 40 BB that went into flower 10 days ago. will be lollipopping this set since not doing it seemed to have really hurt me on the other set.
