true that. i think there is a lot of room to "grow" when it comes to mj cultivation & I think there r many ways to successfully & optimally grow it. But I am a firm believer, aint no man can duplicate what god has created so perfectly with nature itself.nature seems to get away with giving them less light in the mornings, evenings, overcast, rainy days, and they go just fine...i don't understand...
Thanks I like that its solid wood too Im trying to not have a big ol box fan sitting aimed at the armoire because I want it to be STEALTH. Think that might look a little weird to anyone who saw it. Maybe at night for a while. all and all im happy with the temps the way they are but any extra little bit helps.really dig ur set up & LOVE the cabinet (crazy about furniture & things from wood) anyway there is nothing wrong with temps of near 90. Ideal temp is 78, but not an absolute. Keep the cabinet open often to ensure best air flow & ur can simply set a regular old box fan outside, elevated on something in front of ur box as well, when u can. my temps fluctuate from 70-89, no problem with plants growth or any stress.
I dont think your understanding that this only occurs every 45 minutes for around 15 minutes. its not like I have em turning on and off like a fuckin strobe light. Maybe your right though, I havent heard of anyone else doing this so there isnt any proof of it one way or the other. I guess we will find out in a month or 2 when I finally get started. "see how long it is before you get pissed off." lol I do feel ya on that thoughOUTSIDE the light IS FAR STRONGER than ANY HPS.
Plus it's more little changes to strength over time outside... not a brutal on off...... hence light movers not darting about.
Stand in a room with 2 lights and alternate em.... see how long it is before you get pissed off.
Yeah my problem is that I go out of town alot for work and even with 24hrs notice I might not be back in time to clean things up. Thats why im trying to build this thing in such a way that it will always look inconspicuous. sound isnt really a problem for me, the fan i have is small and pretty quite plus i just built a sound proof box around the fan to make it even more quite My apartment is on the top floor with only one other apartment attached to it. Its a pretty good location for what I got goin on. My carbon filter should take care of most if not all the smell.I grew in an apartment once too, my biggest worry was the sound. Where i live its against the 'tenancy act' to enter a renter's apartment without 24hrs notice, though i do realize that not all landlords follow the rules.
I ran an AC in my room as well with my apartment at ground level (which really sketched me out). Be sure to take a good sniff around the AC exhaust when yer in flower, if there's odor escaping through it you could be the last to know.
