Biggest 400w yeild ever

I want to feel better about using my 400w first time around. Can anyone fill my hopes up to the brim?:-P

A supplement to the pics, MAN ur gunna get a HUGE load if you put a plant under a 400 watt HPS, even better is a 1000 watt but hey, u want 400

hahaha, ya thanks. Should 10 Oz even be problem in question? Sog for sure, thinking about 2 liter bottle pots, fitting something like 25 plants under the beast, one per square foot.

i think 10oz is possible

i got about 3oz under one in a 36" wide 18" deep and 36" tall that was 13 plants that were flowered at about 8 inches.

actually thats what i'm thinking of doing, 2 liter bottles, have a shitload of clones to last me:bigjoint:

So you want the biggest yield possible, here is what I suggest. Rather then growing 25 plants in 2 liters, try this... https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/90011-4x4-600w-scrog-3rd-wk.html , this guys' grow is top notch. If you have a 400w, and a 4x4 area, then I don't see why you shouldn't be able to get aleast 10 oz. I know he used a 600w, but its not thaaat much more light, and you can just use a FEW more plants, maybe 5! My next grow will likly be this style, but with 4 ak47 plants, under 1000w, I expect to get aleast 1/4 lb per plant, maybe even 1/3 per. I want atleast 1g/watt= 1000 grams

holy shit, 1000 grams? thats like 35 ounces, shit i know u aint smokin it all urself and surely ur wallet can show that...probably
And I plan to get a 400 watt DIGITAL ballast which is supposed to give off more light and a bunch of other goodies

Lol not yet man not yet. But when the next grow comes it will. The systems i'm looking into building will make that fairly simple I believe. What I outlined above alone should do that or close, and I've got lots of ideas i've been working on with people, that may even yield more, but not from 4-5 plants like this one will.

Sweet. But scrog isnt for me... to much time to invest, need some quick cash BAD. got a warrent for 1700 dollars worth of tickets. all trafic tickets that i got within the past 6 months. LOL. So Sog for sure. Thats a cool grow though, very interesting. Ya thats what i want to aim for to, 1g per watt.

Thanks micro, scrog isn't for everyone, or every grow, it does take time. It requires some veg time vs a SOG that you only veg for a few weeks, or go 12/12 right from clone. Thats when you start adding plants, less veg time means more plants for = yield. I'm thinking about running some single cola clones in the flower room, that will go 12/12 as soon as I see roots, they will be finishing when I start flowering the big girls.

I have a cabinet that is 70'' tall, 30'' wide and 16'' deep
I think I should do a SCROG with a BOG maybe cause of my space problem, or i could go all out with SOG clones but I dont think i will have enough space

hey there micro well you have it a lil wrong....ur square foot is only 16 if u go with a 4x4 space..but with a 400watt i whould go with a 3x3 space=9 sqft..u get more focused light...but if uu use small plants u can fit more then one plant per sq ft....

With 70x30x16 you could have 2 or 3 plants that you bush out, and tie down in a net. Keep all the buds at the perfect level for your light, and never get to tall. Typically less plants means less trouble if something ever did happen.

I've gotten about 4 ounces on average from my 400 watt HPS. Of course, my attic is about 100 degrees in the summer which is the only time I can grow, so my yields have suffered, but this winter I'm insulating and heating the attic so I can grow year round now. :D
